i love the NKOTB when i was 6 years old!. I am sure i had this cassette on hand. It brings back lots of memories. My favorite songs step by step and tonight and the rest of the album is good as well.

This was very good.. Their third album relased back in 1990. I liked this one more than the other two. This one had decent songs, and not too far feched lyrics. Great job boys.

Back in the day .... I remember having this tape, and I think I actually played it so much the tape got eaten! One of my favorites of theirs ... :) Glad to remember all the good times I had with my sisters, talking about who was our "favorite". Its funny how tastes change! I wouldn't say my favorite is my favorite anymore ... I like them all! They grew up well!

They're back!. NKOTB just announced on Today that they are returning...well it's been known for a little while but this was the official announcement. It's fun to listen to these songs again. I bought them a while back since my tapes no longer work. lol. They were my first concert. If they come around me, I will definitely go to the reunion tour! :)

hooray!. all these albums i had on cassette are fun to find on cd (or now itunes) again...listening to them now, with a little maturity, few of them live up to what i remember liking as a kid! this album was a winner...i remember loving it then, and i still remember every word of every song...even though this album was less successful than 'hangin tough', it was always my favorite and i'm happy to listen to it again for nostalgia and to have a song or two to do the 'new kids dance' to again! hooray

NKOTB r backk!!!. omg i cant believe after so long that the kids are back!! cant wait to hit up their reunion concert step by step oooooh babay!! yeah!! i <3 the kids!!!

It's Okay. The New Kids were the big thing when I was teen and I adored them but this was by far my least favorite album of theirs. 18 yrs later and I still don't ever listen to this one...as a matter of fact, this was the last album I bought on cd to replace my old cassette and I shuddered at paying more than $5 at a used CD place. I'd skip this one and head right on to "No More Games - The remix album"...remixing helped make some of those songs better and a lot less like elevator music.

Donnie Wahlberg is a terrible rapper. Great album. Step 1: Donnie can't rap AT ALL!!! Step 2: This was the last good album by the group before they disbanded. Step 3: All the ladies still scream for them even till this day.

Love, love, love them!!. I grew up listening to the New Kids. Will never forget them!

22 years later, I still love this album. This album is legendary. I remember listening to the cassette so frequently that I literally broke the tape (90s problem). NKOTB still rocks.

New Kids on the block. I was a huge fan of NKOTB way back in 1990. When I came down my brain cancer. I was so sick i was granted my make-a-wish. I was so excited when they told me that I would be going to see NKOTB in concert, but due to security reasons i would not be allowed back stage. Now 18 yrs later they are back WOW! To all those who said they would never be back ha ha ha.

14 year old New Kids Fan. My mom was a teenager back in the day and she got me into them now im 14 and been to one of their concerts. Im glad my mom got me into them or else I wouldn't have enjoyed the concert. I Love "Call It What You Want" its my favorite besides "Step by Step".

TheHanapana. I was a Blockhead in the day and this was my favorite album. It had more versatility than Hangin Tough. I loved all the albums but now, 15+ years later, I can appreciate the albums for the music. This one is still my favorite, but all The Block's albums had great hits and touching ballads. Once a fan, always a fan - gladly. :) (First my parents, now my poor hubby. Sorry but the Block is back and so is the 14 yr old in me!)

Excellent. The first five songs are the best in my opinion and transition beautifully. Games is also right up there as well as Happy Birthday. Funny Feeling really grew on me and might be the most mature song on the album. It has a really great, old-school Delfonics vibe. Stay with Me Baby is lots of fun. “Where“, “Never“ and “Time“ are the weaker songs IMO, but even they are growing on me and I might change that opinion over time.

Where is "Please Don't Go Away". I remember borrowing the cassette tape album "Step by Step" from my girlfriend at Dunbar Elementary School in Miami Overtown her name is Lilly, and I remember listing to "Please Don't Go Away Girl" all the time that was my favorite song but interesting the song is not included an any of the albums, that was my favorite song.

80'sKiD. Where is "If You Go Away Girl"?, C'mon now.

You Gotta Love NKOTB!. I looked at the release date and this came out a little before my parents got married that year! I'm 15 and I love NKOTB! I don't listen to today's boy bands like One Direction or Jonas Brothers.I Only like my favorite which is NKOTB and Backstreet Boys.

What can I tell you.... Counting the all the hours, days, weeks I have spent listening to this album "back then" I think there is not one CD I have listened to more in my LIFE! I actually still owed this album on cassette, hahaha. And today I can still sing along to every single tune on this masterpiece... Absolut classic and unforgettable! 5*!

Nostalgia. Oh my word. Talk about a trip down memory lane! feels like forever ago, this was one of my favorite albums as a kid

Step By Step. This album is definitely a sweet spot for any early 90s teenager. Compared to today’s groups and boy bands, this is a album about purity. Vocals are on spot and will always be their best work.
