The trash I hear on the radio has zero content, meaning or creativity. This does. He’s the most underrated artist in the industry. This needs to change.

This album proves once again that Yelawolf’s style is not being constrained to one style. With blends of 808 hip-hop, twangy country, and 70s classic rock in a way we haven’t heard before. Even in past Yelawolf projects. This album explores many different themes within its own overall vision. “Dope” delivers amazing environment storytelling, “Rock at Your Window” is a tear-jerking tribute to a lost friend, and “Mud Mouth” is a unapologetically backwoods country rap song. Best album since Trial By Fire. Yelawolf has released 5 albums this year, all of which vary in styles and influences, however none of them are on the same level as Mudmouth. The production has a great mixture of country twang and boombap beats. Wolf’s lyricism and wordplay are sharper and more witty than they’ve ever been. This album was definitely worth the wait. My favourites are: Oh No, Doghouse, Dope, and Mudmouth.
