You belong in rock music. Second country album and it’s yet another snoozer of an album from Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real. It reconfirms what I said on the last album: this is a rock band trying to be country. Their Something Real album is incredible surf rock and yet the band has abandoned it in favor of what it appears to be a label trying to position Lukas as Willie Jr. This band needs to be what they are and not what everyone else seems to want them to be.
