Stunning album. 10/10

Favorite Kanye album. Listening to this brings me back to being 18. Before life got hard, before the world changed. It’s nice to visit these memories again.

Aged Like Fine Wine. I was lukewarm on this project at first mostly listening to the singles but over the decade and years that have passed since I grow to love this album more and more every year. It has a special vibe that I really resonate growing up in Chicago. It’s both deeply personal of everything happening in Ye’s life at the time from his breakup and losing his mom to not finding the fulfillment he expected after the massive success of Graduation. It was off the beaten path for Kanye and was panned by critics at first. It’s not one of my favorites from Kanye and while it’s so personal and a time capsule of his life it’s also an art that is easy to resonate with either as cold winter listening or when going through pivotal or tough period of transition in life. In retrospect 808’s show that Kanye is an artist less concerned about what is popular at the time and is going to create what art is true to him even if that means it won’t be what critics and listeners are expecting. It’s where I would consider Kanye really stepping out with his productions and vocals and singing. The whole sonic pallet of this album has never been matched. Even on the intro song Say You Will the discord of the piano is so cleverly voiced to the point it gels together without sounding as harsh as the discord of the notes it plays. It also simulates the sound of a heart monitor beeping which ties in so subtly and perfectly with the concept of album *heart* break as well as his reflecting on his life and the passing of his mother. It sets the stage for an album which can be enjoyed any way you slice it but plays very well as a complete album listening experience. Perhaps one the the most influential and simultaneously slept on Kanye projects that will likely be remembered for generations to come and continue to age wonderfully. 10/10

Kanye west is amazing. This album s always going to be good. Kanye is a legend. Even though this album is heavely autotuned and i ussually dont really care for autotune i still think it is a good album. It is crazy that this album painted a path for new rappers nowdays like drake and young thug. Also it is nice to see a clean album everyonce in a while.

RoboCop Needs More Love. This album has a ton of awesome songs, I don’t know why RoboCop doesn’t get more love though it might be my favorite song on the album besides Heartless, which is a forever classic

Yeezy Goes Coldplay. Seriously, what happened here? Some ok songs, but it’s a soundtrack for feeling sorry for yourself when you’re alone in your bedroom. Mostly a downer with nonstop auto tune and Chris Martin-esque piano sounds for dramatic purposes.

Legendary. One of the all time greatest albums I have ever listened to in my lifetime.

Good album. His song shows his emotions about his mom dying and his fiancé leaving him in late 2007. Even though the auto was annoying, it sounded normal, he used it as an art to use for his album. Inconic and innovative album inspiring all the artist today who use there emotions in there music.

A Classic. One of the best, most influential albums ever written.
