"Apricot Princess" is the second studio album by English recording artist Rex Orange County. It was released on April 26, 2017. This album treads on subjects such as love, loss, acceptance and the values and lessons we can learn from one another. The album started unveiling first with the song “untitled” as the albums lead single. the song was released to the public on april 19th, 2017. The singer took to social media as a place to announce the album, shortly before the release date alex revealed the release date, tracklist, features, and song titles that would be on the album. fans at that point were already speculating and spreading rumours of a new album which at that point as only confirmed by the singer. The second single “never enough” turned into an instant success and was well acclaimed with fans and critics alike. it made its debut selling well compared to the singers other works which made anticipation for the album very high. The album's release was fairly rough, with troubles on the singers part with the album coming out on all streaming services at the same time as first intended.
