Nope. Absolutely terrible rock album. Yes not folk - punk - Irish, instead stale terrible rock.

Terrible. Only one listen. Stale and lame. Dropkick used to be so much better. Last 3 albums have sucked. I miss the old school sound from the first 5 albums.

Horrible. What the hell happened to them. It's just Irish folk music now. Where's the punk. Where's the hardcore? It hasent been there for years. But this is getting worse.

Wow!. Dropkick Murphys never fail to dissapoint! Blood is a straight up anthem. I can imagine this song being sung by every fan in unison with the band. Truly epic!!

Thank you Dropkick. I have loved every album they have ever put out, but this is the 1st one that had song that made me tear up. So many emotions in the album. And the reason behind it is even better. Rebels with a cause and paying my way. Couldn't explain more.

Sorry I purchased. A band needs to issue albums that are not duplicates of every other LP they've ever issued.

It's half an album.... I still prefer DKM from about 14 years ago and earlier when they played faster. Songs like Blood, I Had A Hat, First Class Loser and Paying My Way are pretty good, but I'm not really into the slower style on this album. DKM can do slower pieces, like Forever, but I don't think there's anything here on that level. It's much more working class Spingsteen style rock, which is fine, just not what I was looking for here. The biggest disappointment is probably the instrumental opening track though - it really falls flat and fails to kick things off right.

Best Effort in Years!. You kind of always know what you're getting with Dropkick Murphy's. But in my opinion this is their best effort in years. More attention paid to melodic tunes and variation than the last few albums. If you only like breakneck speed, you'll probably be dissapointed with "11 Short Stories", but you should really concider it for what it is rather than what it isn't. It isn't 11 tracks of non stop circle pit songs, rather a well concieved life narative of harmony and rhythm. I enjoy hearing musicians that have been at it a long while branching out and changing things up from time to time...This album delivers that for me.

YNWA. I have seen the Murphys live thee times and if they come to Pittsburgh I will see them again just to witness theme perform You'll Never Walk Alone. The Murphs and Liverpool, a match made in music and football heaven.

Yes. When isn't it a good time for a new dropkick album. Blood is an epic song. Can't wait for the rest, I know it won't disappoint!

Same crap. These guys would be better off hanging up their guitars and starting a barbershop quartet. This music was ok twenty years ago, but now? Not so much

Great. Sounds as good as their old school stuff! I love Blood and Paying my way. I hope this is a return to their old sound and maybe they’ve given up on trying to be rock stars

DKM.... I honestly don't know how to say just how much I love, appreciate, and respect this band. Their music has been a soundtrack to a good portion of my life. The good times I remember and the better times I don't haha. They've done IT again judging by what I've heard of this album. Keep em' coming boys!

DKM never disapoints!. Love the direction the last two albums went. It obivious that the DKM are still progressing after all thise years, while staying true to themselves! But who cares what I think, the music speaks for itself!

It tells a story. My only complaint is that I wish the album was longer! Each song tells a story and feeds seamlessly into the next one. The highlights are Rebels With A Cause which kicks the album off with a bang, Blood which is an anthemic sing-a-long, Paying My Way which makes you reflect, I Had A Hat which is the fastest song on the album and a definite pit-starter at live shows, and You'll Never Walk Alone. Get the album, buy a live ticket, and sit back and enjoy the ride!

No Booklet?. Where is the digital booklet? Add it and I'll buy the album.

Still do it.. I get that the song Blood sounds like Ring of Fire, but still better than most stuff out there. Stil after all these years making solid albums. These guys have their thing down so well that it's hard for them to make a poor album. Let's Go Murphys!

Irish-American band Dropkick Murphys tell their eleven stories with honor and truth unparalleled in music today! The song "Sandlot" epitomizes where the band and it's fans began many years ago.. -4-23-13, is a slaute to Boston and Americans. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is a great cover and homage to the broadway play "Oklahoma." Each song feels true and clear Dropkick Murphys is the one of the few band that seems to progress and get better with each album! Hell, "First Class Loser" could remind one of Donald Trump. THIS IS MY DESERT ISLAND ALBUM!!!!!!. I heard this Album in whole, waiting to find a bad song,& once in a very long blue moon you will find a album that is completely perfect in every way. On one hand it might be the whols song, on another the lyrics. Case in point, I was skeptical of "'til the next time",at first it sounded like something Bobby Sherman would;ve put out in the mid 70s, then I was listening to the lyrics, & by the end it came out as something priceless! I tip my Loners hat to you all!!!!!!
