Masterful but Pricey. Let's be honest. This soundtrack is -blam!-ing amazing. I only have one reason to rate it 4 stars. And that is the pricing. It is double the last album. I am kinda ticked off by this but honestly, this -blam!-ing music is worth it. Heck, they could triple the price and I'd still drop the dough. Buy this -blam!-ing soundtrack. You won't regret it.

The Taken King is here. I love all of these tracks, from The Dark Below hive tracks, all the way to the music during the King's Fall Raid. I am sad that Marty O'Donnell wasn't given credit for some of his in here, but still five stars. (Marty would have gotten 5000) I will not subscribe to apple music unless this song is on there. Destiny FTW! Also, the we are guardians trailer had 'Immigrant Song' by Led Zepplin. You can find it elsewhere in the store.

Excellent soundtrack. The music of this album really add to the world of Destiny. If you are like me and listen to it while you sleep beware "Dirge of the Deathsinger" it will scare you in the middle of the night.

Nothing like it. Destiny: The Taken King has the best soundtrack of all time. Nothing compares to it, simple as that. Part of what made it the greatest DLC of both Destiny 1 and 2, with Forsaken and Rise Of Iron close seconds. Thank you Bungie for your outstanding musical integrity.

So great. Amazing then again Bungie has done it. My favorites are: 1. Long Live The King 2. Regicide 3. Last Stand 4. Bow To No One 5. Exfiltrate I recommend those songs to anybody out there they are lit

Sound like hell (Good kind). Best music I ever heard. Cabal breach is my personal fav. Btw thanx so much for fixing the problem I reported on the original soundtrack. One thing I just want to put out there for future preferences, there was a lot of repetition in the music. That the ONLY thing I don't like. Everything else, 5 stars. Also I want to apologize if my last report was rude or anything because of the bug on the original soundtrack. Again thx for fixing it. 😉

THE TAKEN KING. When ever I listen to this I feel like I'm playing as my guardian not staring at a screen with my xbox one controller in my hands. Way to go Bungie!

Worthy for a King. Destiny's first soundtrack swept with grand motifs and intense fights, and yet it still needs the Music of Spheres addition by Martin O'Donnell. Crossing those fingers for that release. This soundtrack complements the first soundtrack in every way possible. The electronic, choral and symphonic elements mix together seamlessly. The Awoken melody soothes, while the Visage of Oryx subtly grows with horror and add suspense while fighting the Taken. *Notice: I purchased from Bungie and received a promotional emblem. If you have purchased the first Destiny soundtrack, you might as well add this soundtrack to the collection because we are in it for another eight years...

Great music. The music is great, sounds very different than Marty's but I think that's what they wanted, much more brooding than a space opera epic feel then what Marty did, While it is good, it doesnt have anything that takes your breath away. Or beautiful melodies, it's just very dark.But I'm happy Michael Salvatori is involved it's in very good hands.

Mind Blown. This is a true masterpiece. I thought after Bungie axed Martin O’Donnell, the music for Destiny would implode, but The Taken King really is something special. My mind is blown beyond words. No true Destiny fan should be without it. The music from the trailers is missing, so I would get on Youtube and watch those, but all in all, this album is almost flawless. The absolute winner here if I had to pick a favorite track would have to be Bow to No One. That piece is what made me want to buy the album. In conclusion, this is definitely worth the buy, and even though Marty is gone, this album wasn’t hurt by his absence. It fits perfectly with the direction Bungie wanted to take TTK, and I can’t wait for the next nine years of Destiny.

Not the same, but still great. I say it's "not the same" due to the firing of Marty O'Donnell. It's definitely different; whether it's a good or bad different depends from person to person, but I still like it a lot.

Huge Step towards Victory. The fact that each song is unquestionably amazing doesn't surprise me. Each one has a tone set for itself, and I haven't even listened to most of them fully. Over all deserves the money. And I hope the same with many more soundtracks to come.

Missing Important Tracks. It's missing a lot of the music from the raids. Music is amazing, but missing key elements

Destiny can be rewritten, the listener holds the pen.. A very emotional and beautiful soundtrack! 10/10 would listen again.

Destiny: it's in our hands!. One year ago, I thought this game was small compared to what Bungie had promised. Now, after the second massive instalment, the game is richer than ever, the storylines and histories expanded upon, and the beautiful soundtrack brought up to speed to match the exciting new tale of the Taken King. 'Remembrance' is my particular favourite - so many emotions in so few chords, it is an amazingly simple composition! It could easily be recognised as Destiny's new theme.

2 steps I fell. Bungie store have the digital download for $7!!! Can only be used 7 times though whereas iTunes you can download to your hearts consent. Albeit if you're making a hard copy or save the zip file that's not an issue.
