Good but….. Love the beats and his voice. The lyrics, however, are questionable. His hit single, borro cassette, is practically about date rape. No one should have sex with someone who is borracha or so drunk she can’t remember sleeping with him. What is this teaching our young boys? If you can ignore the lyrics about getting in your panties then the album is great. Hope he releases the instrumentals and has something more to say…lyrically.

Forgetable. Its comforting to know that Latin America falls for cute faces as easily as the rest of the world. Following the formula that has worked so well for J. Balvin, Maluma hits the present 3 minute song button and takes a nap. I give Balvin some credit since he attempted some creativity, Maluma just hits the drum machine present beat and lets auto tune do its thing. Its catchy enough but every formula loses its magic, some quicker then others. What was the name of this release again??

Music One Reviews knows zip about Reggaeton. Maluma definitely shows his evolution with this album. A well balanced selection of songs ranging from street club tracks such as "Solos" and "Borro Cassette" to heart felt perreos like "El Perdedor" and swift ballads like "Vuelo Hacia El Olvido" . No "Auto tune" here just pure sentiment in his vocals. This album is a must buy for true fans of the new generation of Urban artists not for the fans of the outdated and aging Balvins and Yankees of the world 😉

Don't sell yourself short. There were a few tracks that show he can sing, 7 & 14, the rest just thumping bass rubbish. If he sticks to Bachata and lyrical tunes, he may find his niche. :-)
