PERFECT.. John Mayer is simply amazing. I grew up listening to his songs...I'm a teenager now, but I will NEVER get tired of his music. Every time I listen to a song on this album (or any John Mayer song, for that matter), it brings endless memories into my mind. The best parts of my life are replayed whenever I listen to these songs. John Mayer, thank you for being there with me my whole life, even though you don't know me. (:

Amazing. Amazing album from an amazing artist. Assassin and Edge of Desire are off the charts. This is a must have for anyone that appreciates great music and great talent.

Bitter, wow.. I can hear so much bitterness in this album over his previous work. Obviously it plays out through the snippets we see in the stress from his personal life. I dig the completeness, but the message is one that will appeal to a particular class of people ... but this is what art creation is all about. He has hints of Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, and Jack Johnson with a touch Cheech & Chong comic view on things throughout. I don't regret the purchase, but was a bit of a surprise in message. Can't wait for someone to nail him down and settle his soul, for sure. See you next album, John.

Great album, not his best.. This album was powerful enough to get me interested in John Mayer, but after exploring some of his other music i relized that this was not his best work.
