First Love by Alan Jackson Song Lyrics
I was 15, she was 18
The prettiest thing I'd ever seen in my life
I loved her at first sight
I found her in Marietta, a town north of Atlanta
I brought her home to see my folks
They loved her too
We were together for a long time
Thought it would be for all time
But things change and rearrange
She had to go
She left me crying in '79
An airline pilot in Carolina

Nice album. I bought two songs off of this album, Drive and Where Were You (the live one with Vince Gill) some years ago when the songs were DRM'd. Now that the store is all iTunes Plus I expected to have Where Were You upgraded also. However, it seems now the song is available only with the entire album. That makes for a very expensive upgrade of $7.71 when I should only be paying $0.30.
Classic Alan Jackson. Without a doubt one of the best compilations by AJ.
Drive. Alan, I love this song and hope I have a daughter that I can teach how to drive!!!!
Legend. It's a toss up for this man and George Strait. Alan Jackson is as country as it gets. With every word he sings you can feel every bit of emotion. It hits the heart. I have been listening to him since before I could walk. This is my favorite album by him. And every album before and after Drive is up there. I will continue to listen to this noble, prestigious man whether or not he continues to release more music. I wish I could give him more than five stars for this album and every other one. They more than deserve it.
Tears. This song brings tears to my eyes because my grandfather just died and it reminded me of him and my uncle let me drive his Chevy and my dad let me drive his boat rip bubba ;( ;(;(;(
