- Even in remix they are great5 star

great album I recommend their album "More songs about buildings and food." It is the best album ever created by the best band that ever existed. Why did they ever break up?

- Great compilation, but missing a couple of their best.5 star

First, I admittedly don't own this compilation, but I do have every song on it and they are all great songs. It saddens me, however, to realize the live versions of Slippery People and Swamp, which were compiled on the UK Best of in 1992 that I do have, are not on this Best Of. I can't think of Talking Heads without thinking of those two songs, especially Slippery People, and I can't help but think some people will buy this Best Of and never hear those other amazing songs. If you don't get all their albums, although you should, at least grab Stop Making Sense (where you'll find Slippery People and Swamp) and The Name of This Band is Talking Heads, which is an amazing, fresh & raw live compilation from their first 4 albums. Also missing from this Best Of: Thank You For Sending Me an Angel

- Here's the deal...4 star

For the most part, Talking Heads are an acquired taste. While some tunes, such as Wild Wild Life, And She Was, and Take Me To The River jump out at you the first time you hear them, much of their work requires multiple listens to develop a full appreciation. In that regard, I think they're a little like Oingo Boingo. I think this remastered stuff sounds great. A primer and an anthology, all rolled into one.

- How can you not like it!5 star

This music is awesome. Not annoying. Simply genius new wave music. AND YOU SPELLED FRENCH WRONG YOU METAPHORICAL IDIOT!

- Incredible5 star

At first I thought the Talking Heads were a little too weird for me but as I listened to them more and more I really began to like their music. If at first you don't really like the Talking Heads give them a second chance because they are amazing. For first time listeners and for Talking Heads fans I would suggest this album becuase it has all of their best songs!

- its relly fun to sing to5 star

these guys have talent!!!! psycho killer, que'ce que c'est, fa fa fa fa, fafa fa fa fa, fa I love that song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also like "burning down" the house and "and she was". nickwas here

- Talking Heads r the best!!!!5 star

This has got it all. Let me tell u all their albums are fab but this takes all my faves and makes my favorite band's best album. The best song on here is Uh-Oh Love Comes To Town but they're all so great, Burning Down The House, Life During Wartime, Once in a Lifetime, Love -> Buliding On Fire, And She Was, Wild Wild Life, Take Me To The River, Psycho Killer, Road To Nowhere, Heaven and those are just the basics!!!

- Great Band, Great Album!5 star

I love the Talking Heads... theve been my favorite band ever since I was introduced. This album was the first album I bought and every single song in that album blew me away... The songs are the best, especially found a job, life during wartime, houses in motion, and blind... there are sooo many more

- Incredible5 star

This album is amazing. Ever since I bought this album, it has been on my iPod everywhere I go. Almost every song on here is one of my favorites. The key tracks are: "Burning Down the House," "Girlfriend is Better," "Take Me To the River," "Psycho Killer," "And She Was," and "Road to Nowhere." But seriously, its $12 for 18 amazing tracks, so you might as well buy the entire album. The Talking Heads aren't the most accessible band if you only like popular music, but if you are willing to actually buy this and listen to it, you will not regret the purchase.

- Soundtrack to my life5 star

Where ever I go I have a Talking Heads cd or my iPod close, this album proved to be all that I needed to orchestrate my life. David Byrne is clearly the most creative person to ever come out during the 80's, completely bringing out the new wave sound.

- Annoying1 star

Ok Once in a Lifetimke may be the most annoying song ever made, let alone released and put on a greatest hits compilation.

- A breath of fresh air in a stagnant decade5 star

Listening to the Talking Heads over twenty years after first hearing them in a corporate record store in Escondido, California, I am struck by the freshness of this music even today. David Byrne, et al broke into the 1970's at a time when music was at an all time low with the height of disco and other sycophantic crap.

- Masterpiece5 star

This album is a masterpiece collection of hits known and not so well known. I Bought it the day it came out, if you have only the slightest interest in the Talking Heads this is a good album to start with.
