The Birth of ELO!. This is a POP/ROCK ELO classic. The good songs on this are, "10538 Overture", "Nellie Takes Her Bow", and "First Movement (Jumping Biz)" A must for IPOD users. Enjoy!
Zayas63. The original member that started it all is not like the later albums, it's sound is rough and raw and from hearing the album first time took some time for myself to play it again after. Mr. Radio was my favorite song as well a 10538 Overture. still a great Debut album.
The Original Stuff. Rough and raw music, not like the refined sound many people are used to later. Nevertheless it's got good stuff, "10538 Overture" is the classic single here, but "Look at me Now", "1st Movement", and "Mr. Radio" also being really good pieces.
Great Debut Album. Not my favorite ELO album, but it's good. It just doesn't sound like what they did later on. My favorites would probably be "Nellie Takes Her Bow," "1st Movement (Jumping Biz)," "Mr. Radio" (my personal favorite off this album), "Manhattan Rumble (49th Street Massacre)", and "Whisper in the Night". The whole album's great, though. But honestly, I also highly recommend you look into ELO's later works. They're a great band.
