Smooth as Silk. I saw Harry perform this album in Phila. on my 30th Birthday. It was the best muscial experience that I had in my life and is still to this day. A Spoon Full of Sugar bring out his New Orleans roots. If you are looking to hear something different from Harry - this is THE buy! Enjoy - how you hear him here is exactly how he sounded in concert! If you ever get a chance to see him in concert, please do so, you won't be disappointed!
Just Fun!. This is a great way to enjoy classic tunes from your childhood favorite movies and musicals. Connick does a fantastic job adding his style and flair to these tunes without ruing their original composition. You can't listen to this album without cracking a smile. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.
Love it; love Harry!. This album is excellent, like all of Harry's work. He is an extraordinary performer!
Fun. I love listening to these familiar songs and then to hear them being sung by Harry! Well it just makes me love it even more. Even my kids like listening. "Stay Awake" is our favorite bedtime song.
Refreshing. This is a great album if you are looking for something to listen to with your kids that won't drive you nuts. I like that it doesn't insult my child's intelligence like those other albums where kids sing contemporary songs with inappropriate lyrics to elevator music. It's great exposure for little ears to a variety of instrumental sounds. My two year old loves the big band! But this is still a wonderfull album if you don't have any children to share it with. It's a fun way to reminisce with your favorite childhood songs that are sophisticated enough for the adults.
