My Least Favorite Beatles Album.. When "Let It Be" was released I bought the album like just about every teenager who grew up listening to The Fab Four. With the exception of a few songs (Let It Be, Get Back and The Long And Winding Road) I felt it was my least favorite Beatles album. It was obvious this band was on the brink of breaking up. It just wasn't very good for a band that released such great albums in the past. This newly remixed version of "Let It Be" really wasn't necessary, hiw many more times can these Beatles albums be remixed, remastered, etc? I'm sure in ten years there will be another version of this album remixed ir remastered or whatever. It really was fine production wise so why the need to tamper with it?

Outstanding Hi-Res Remaster!!!!!!. Just bought this the day it came out, and compared to my old CD copy of Let It Be, it's simply on another level! The sound is fuller, bigger/wider (soundstage), and it is WAY more dynamic! as well! Highly recommended!! A must buy!

Great album. Sure it’s the worst Beatles album, but it’s still a Beatles album

Omg this remix is killing. Maybe what this album needs is some 808’s and handclaps with a triplet hi hat huh? Puhlease… 6 solid hits that graced the radio for decades and you say no thank you. It should’ve been an EP? This was a swan song album to wrap up a band’s career that was written in 2weeks, after having well over 40 hits, many that were number ones, in 7 years. Terrible is in the ear of the beholder. Songwriting is more than stealing/sampling someone’s hard work. Pilfering the emotion of an artist to make a crap beat and calling it your own. Sit back, put on your buds and immerse yourselves from top to bottom for 40 minutes.

Anything by the Beatles is Good.. The songs from this album were recorded prior to Abby Road and basically left in the vault. If I recall correctly, after the the news of a breakup, they needed (at least) one more album to satisfy their contract. This was the only [Apple] LP to have a red apple on the inititial release. I can't wait for the re-release of the Let It Be documentary being done in New Zealand, which is far far better quality than the 'bootlegs' with out of sync rooftop jams.

Inaccurate iTunes review. The iTunes review is inaccurate in many respects. In particular, John was in no way having a jab at McCartney regarding let it be. It was just John’s sense of humour. Let it be is about Paul’s mother (mother Mary), who came to him in a dream. She died while Paul was young, as did John’s own mother. There is no way on earth John would have made fun of Paul about this given their shared grief. It’s because of stupid reviews like this one that so much blatantly wrong myths about this album have developed. I’m giving this one star because it is still spector’s production. If you want the real album, get let it be naked for which I give 5 stars.

Inevitable. After seeing the movie doco get back This is a must have album the crazy humour during recording and in between songs it's four guys realising it's their last thing together and as history shows they all become accomplished solo artists , leave out the bull dust and enjoy the Beatles as they play their last waltz .
