A 'can't live without' album. I've bought this CD 3 times over the past decade and still listen to it at least once a month. I'm not usually into funk or really even H.C. Jr but this album just does it for me. If I were stranded on an island and could only have 5 CDs with me, this would definitely be one of them.

By far the best H.C Jr. album. This album has a groove like no other. It is infectious. I would call this departure from his norm the pinnacle of his art. I bought this album many years ago as a gift to my wife, and it got shelved as an 'older music' album before we even heard it, and this was '96. I went digging through my CDs a few weeks ago and actually listened. WOW. We had a dinner party a week ago with some younger (20 Something) folks who also found this to be a unique (and not in a bad way) groove and were shocked to find out who it was. A must have album.

Moved my soul!. I love this entire album. It has a way of lifting your spirit and moving your soul. I used a song from this album for my wedding and received so many inquiries as to where the song came from that it amazed me. This is an album that every one should own.

Funky dunky!. This was one of the first compact discs I ever owned, played constantly in the first car I ever owned, on the first car CD player I ever owned. I remember playing "The Big Parade" over and over until I could play the drum solo beat-for-beat on my steering wheel and dashboard. How did I avoid getting into accidents? The grace of God on a 16-year-old Harry fan, I guess! This album is truly funky, and never ceases to bring a smile to my face.

uncharacteristically funky. I know what you're thinking,Harry Connick the mellow piano man......Wrong.This album is as funky as the meters.Still smooth but foot stompingly groovy.I dont know what got into Harry but this album almost excuses him from his appearances in Will & Grace. I havent enjoyed an album of his before or since this one but its a must have for the true funk fan.

Funky as. I know I'm a bit late in the discovery of this epic album but regardless, this is gold! So funky... Love love love it!

GREAT Album. Great album - super-funky! Buy it. :)

Smooth. This Album is ice cold, timeless and never gets dull. You can listen to each song a million times and never get over them.
