Not bad but get back with Butch Vig and make a rock record.. At first I wasn’t sure what to think about this album because I sure did not like Shame Shame but it’s a good Pop album. There are some great songs on here but I don’t know if it is the running order of songs or what but it just doesn’t flow like a Foo Fighters album usually does. Not my usual cup of tea but I do like Making A Fire; Dave’s daughter does a great job on the backing vocal. Cloudspotter is a great song that reminds me of The Power Station or early Duran Duran. The standout track is Love Dies Young, great hook that will be some stuck in your head all day; I expect this song to be huge if released as a single. Overall, it’s a good album but I’d like another Wasting Light and lose the keyboard player as a full fledged member. I understand some songs need keys but that dude just looks outta place on the rockers. 🥶

It’s ok.. That’s ok. It’s ok. Some good tracks. Some bad. It’s a an ok Foo album.

FULL ALBUM REVIEW. I’m gonna be honest, I had no idea they had released 3 singles until I was browsing my phone while trying to do schoolwork, and saw a foo fighters album from 2021. I was like “Cool! When did they release this?” Turns out it was that exact day, Feb. 5th. I was like - “whoa” and I listened to the whole album immediately. At first I was skeptical, and thought it was a “meh” album. Then I listened to it a few more times, and now I absolutely love it! It is an amazing album, but you will have to stick it out a few times before you can really enjoy it. I can’t stop playing it now, and have already learned all the songs on drums. 🤘 rock on, foo fighters!!!

Keep an open mind.. If you go into this expecting the Foo Fighters of the 90s and 00s, you’re not going to be happy, but if you keep an open mind, you’ll find this to be a very enjoyable record.

Remember when Kiss did disco?. Trying to make music in the style of today’s clueless “rock stars” Sad attempt to be hip. Don’t think this will age well.

A Slight Change In Direction. This is a point at which some will choose to follow and some won't. There is no doubt they've taken a risk in creating a slightly more pop sound and I applaud any musician who makes the decision to do something a little unconventional.
