This album is incredible, I'm a huge fan of bands like Neurosis and Isis and melodic folk, and this is an incredible marriage of the two styles, at times piercingly beautiful and at others terrifyingly heavy, and sometimes both, that area where both meet is what makes this album so amazing to me, the meeting of these two styles that would appear to be at odds with one another is done so well here that it leads to a whole new area of music.

A Black Sea. Sonic chiaroscuro. The extreme divergence in the musical style of the two bands is what gives this collaboration its power. An elemental clash, like lava flows hitting the sea. Truly an awe inspiring experience.
