Tyler's Best Work. this album is my favorite by tyler, and i will be doing a track by track review. 1. Wolf: a nice opener that also sets the tone of the album. it introduces sam to the story. 2. jamba: a cool beat and also features hodgy beats. 3. cowboy: one of my least favorite songs because of the slower pace and a boring beat. 4. awkward: this is a cool sounding song where even with tyler's deep voice it sounds good. it is also one of the only songs that i like when tyler changes his voice (i hated when he did it in cherry bomb). 5. domo23: a fan favorite and one of my favorites too. it is a loud track and while his name is in the title, domo genesis is not featured. 6. answer: a great song and emotional while tyler talks about never knowing his dad. 7. slater: not an amazing song, but is ok and features the grammy award winner frank ocean. 8. 48: with it starting and ending with parts of an interview from nas, this is one of the best tracks where tyler raps about the pros and cons of selling drugs (he does not do it by the way). 9. colossus: tyler received some hate on this song for it being calls his version of eminem's "stan." i still love the track and it is one of my favorites. 10. partyisntover/campfire/bimmer: since this is three short tracks in one, i am only going to review "bimmer" which is my favorite. it has a good beat and tyler plays it live a lot. frank ocean is once again in this song. 11. ifhy: my second favorite song (behind rusty) and is a fan favorite too. it seems to be tyler's best work and probably his best video to go along with it. pharrell's part completes the song with the line that is sung loudest at tyler's concerts- "i'm in love..." 12. pigs: although it sounds much like coyboy, it is still in one of my favorites for some reason. it obviously wasn't intended to be one of the best tracks, but it still is enjoyable to me. 13. parking lot: again, this song was not one of the better songs, but still features casey veggies and mike g. it has a cool intro to rusty at the end of it too. 14. rusty: this is easily my favorite song on the album. domo genesis starts it off with what i think it he best performance ever. he sounds hungry and has a great verse. tyler then comes in with one of my favorite performances from him, and raps about the perception he gets from the media or parents. one of my favorite lines shows this as tyler states "look at that article that says my subject matter is wrong; saying i hate gays even though frank is on ten of my songs. look at the mom who thinks i'm evil hold that grudge against me; but i'm the reason that her ---- son got to eat." this just shows how people think that tyler is this evil person, however he is one of the nicest people in the music business. earl swatshirt finishes it off with a great performance too. 15. trashwang: this is just a throwaway song at the end of the album and i don't like it. however it is significant to the album because it is the battle between tyler and sam (if you don't know what i'm talking about look it up). 16. treehome95: this song shows tyler's creative side as it is a slower more instrumental track. 17. tamale: a fan favorite and also one of mine. this song is similar to domo23 and is a song tyler plays frequently live. 18. lone: this is the closing track on the album and it is one of my favorites. tyler raps about his grandmother dying and his last moments with her as she lays in a hospital bed. the music fits the song as it sounds like elevator music. overall, this is a great album and tyler's best selling one too. you should buy it if you like tyler.

My favorite album. (Huge fan). All the songs are great. I don’t dislike a single one. Totally my favorite tyler album. I bought the whole album because I don’t shuffle the songs. I play the whole album so every song is played.

Great Album. This basically explained everything that happened in Goblin and Bastard! I love it and it is a good listen that flows beautifully and tells a great story of how Tyler's imaginary and realistic struggles began.
