FREAKIN' AWESOME!. AC/DC's first live album in 20 years and worth the wait. Angus's guitar solo on Let There Be Rock is legendary. Not a weak moment on this album. Great sound and the audience was in it from beginning to end. This one is a must-have for all AC/DC fans!

Not out of style. This music will stand the test of time. Your teeny pop artists will fall to the unemployment line after ten years...and that is being generous. Back in Black!. ACDC is back with this great new live album.Also not only that, but they finally got all their albums on iTunes.I know i'm not the only that is happy about getting Thunderstruck or or T.N.T.This new live album re-lives their great legacy for epic vocals and guitar solos.This is their best live album ever.The only downside is that some parts might be out out of key,but it is only a minor note.ACDC definitely isn't gone,it is definitely back,and will be rocking in your headphones for a long time,since you can buy all their albums. 4 stars-Recommended!

Ham radio operator. Brian's voice sounds better compared to there LIVE album back in 1992. Put them up against any artist of today, and they will blow them off stage.

They all reach the phase eventually. The "phase" in my title refers to the point where a great rock band doesn't sound that good on a live record, but their studio releases and concerts (when experienced in person) are still great. Compared to "AC/DC Live", you can tell 3-4 tracks in that the band members have finally started to let their age into their performance. While Live at River Plate is still a solid performance from the Thunder from Down Under, Brian's vocals and Angus's guitar are clearly not in their prime anymore, and if you want live songs in your itunes, you best look elsewhere. Highlight: Rock 'n' Roll train, even though it doesn't have previous live versions to live up to, hits just as hard as a real train. Lowlight: Hells Bells can't catch a live break, can it? Maybe the studio version is just so good, nothing else can replicate it...

Great concert !!. Saw them at Hampden in 2009 and they were great then !! This video in Argentina of the same tour catches them brilliantly !! A great band, superb music and an awesome show sums up AC/DC!! Buy this album !!

river plate live ac/dc. every song on the live album lives up to the ac/dc power and glory of all the days gone by. Angus blasting out the ear burning solo rifs with malcolm laying down the melody , infornt of an amazing sold out river plate audience ,there was only one way for brians vocals to go ,,, to another level ,each song as good as the next .# this live album is not just for the purest ac/dc fan but for anyone who has ever tapped a toe beat a finger or just loves rock !! Enjoy !!!!!!!!!

AC/DC Live at River Plate. It's been a long time coming. Brilliant.

Really???. Bought my first DC album in 1980, saw my first concert in 1983, and I've got everything they've ever done. Why 2 stars??...... Really disappointed by the quality of the sound mixing. I saw them on this tour at Manchester and Glasgow, and they were awesome. In Let there be Rock the audience are totally faded at the start of the song so when you get to "let there be sound..." you get complete silence instead of the massive roar from the crowd. At the end of the song you get the crowd noise and feel like you're part of it...... as it should be! The Jack's even worse as you get the part when Angus drops his trolleys but all you hear is very quiet rhythm section from Mal and Cliff with loads of crowd noise.... It just doesn't work! There's loads of other examples, and I don't think any of the tracks did it for me. Really disappointed!!!!!!!! This is the best live band in the world and it feels like the production company have sold them, or us, down the river. Listen to live at Donnington if you want the real deal.
