Nope. Not a very big fan of this album. It seems like they're trying to hard to get back to Sacrament. That'll never happen, Sacrament was their peak. I actually kind of loathe this album because it is complete sh*t! I've listened to it straight through about 8 times and still haven't heard a song that's stood out to me. Even wrath was better than this and I thought wrath was their low point.

Speechless. After listening to the first album The New American Gospel and forward It is clearly obvious they get better after each album. They incorporate many different styles into this album and this by far their best. I've listened to this album multiple time and I'm very surprised by how much they improved from their past album Wrath and also their improvement as musicians. MUST BUY

codyrayb. WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE SAYING IT DOESNT SOUND LIKE LAMB OF GOD AND OTHER PEOPLE ARE SAYING THEY HAVENT CHANGED AT ALL. ARE YALL LISTENING TO THE SAME ALBUM I AM. RANDY IS STILL AS STRONG AS EVER, AS IS THE BAND AS A WHOLE, BUT ITS NOT MY FAVORITE ALBUM FROM THEM. AND THEY HAVE DEFINITELY CHANGED, HAS ANYBODY HEARD THE BURN THE PRIEST ALBUM OR NEW AMERICAN GOSPEL? YET YOU CAN DEFINITELY TELL ITS LAMB OF GOD. THERES NO MISTAKING THEM WITH ANYBODY ELSE, THEY ARE WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND THE REST. OH YES AND BY THE WAY, THEIR GREATEST ALBUMS TO DATE ARE THE BURN THE PRIEST ALBUM AND ASHES OF THE WAKE.

Decent. It is a good album but sounded like recycled songs from their previous works.

3RD BEST LAMB OF GOD ALBUM!!!. This album is awesome i am going to rate the songs Straight For The Sun - 8.5/10 Desolation - 8.5/10 Ghost Walking - 8.5/10 Guilty - 7.5/10 (Nothing special, worst song on this album) The Undertow - 9/10 The Number Six - 10/10 (best song on this album) Barbarosa - 9/10 Invictus - 10/10 Cheated - 9.5/10 Insurrection - 10/10 Terminally Unique - 10/10 To The End - 9/10 Visitation - 9.5/10 King Me - 10/10 The second half of the album is much better. The only problem i have with this is that the guitar work isn't as good as usual. I'm going to order the albums best to worst: 1. Ashes of the Wake 2. As The Palaces Burn 3. Resolution 4. Sacrament 5. Wrath 6. New American Gospel 7. Burn The Priest They're all awesome though, i have heard them all.

So good. Kinda grew tired of lamb of god and stopped paying attention to them. I missed out on this. Holy hell this is awesome. Randy's vocals are top notch. And always, Chris Adler is awesome. Track 2, 5, and 13 are my favorites

LOG FOREVER. LOG once again delivers!!! Track ofter track of heart pounding riffs! If you don't like metal then stay away and live in fear of LAMB OF GOD!!!

Not going down. Lol people are like Lamb of god is going down hill but they aren't, if anything they're going uphill don't listen to the people who hate listen to it for yourself and see what you think

Great album. I was very impressed with resolution, king me and the undertow are my 2 favorites, although in my opinion their earlier albums were slightly better but it's still a great album that I would recommend giving a try

One of LoGs best albums.. Resolution is the perfect follow up to Wrath and show's off just how talented this band really is. I love how much experimentation went into this album, and how it all just worked out perefectly. The sound quality is great and the solos are killer in this album. Randy's volcals have set an all time high on this album. The drumming is also strong on all the songs for this album. LoG fans will not be disappointed with this album it is brutal, fast, and loud. My favorite tracks are Invictus, Insurrection, King Me, The Undertow, and Ghost Walking. A must own for any and all metal heads.

King Them!. Lamb of God, still is brutal, talented, and entertaining! This album has no "weak" songs, but ill admit some do not stand out much. Songs like Desolation, Ghost Walking, and King Me, really stand out. That being said every song is good and as a whole the album is solid. I also urge every one to go to a Lamb of God concert, every ticket sold to a LOG concert spawns a demon in hell!

Brilliant. Amazing, epic can sum it up pretty much..gotta say I was skeptic about it and didn't know if I was gonna care for it, Wrath was a low point for them personally, so I was hoping for a bigger show out. Not saying Wrath is bad but the older albums were better. Resolution just puts Soo much stuff in this album. The amazing drumming by Chris and the riffs are awesome, and Randy stole the show and did amazing. Not really a bad song on here might be a few fillers and some typical lamb of god tracks but hey that's why we like them. First track sets the tone and then takes off! For me it doesn't get much better. The number 6 and insurrection are the standouts and of course king me is a great way to end a amazing album! Pick it up!!

Bada**. This album is off the hook, these guys are real metal, yeah the older albums had completely different sound, every band matures. get over it! 5stars

The man taking over.. I would like to let people know I wrote a review ranting about these "iTunes only" bonus tracks, and how corporate conglomerate bullies thought up of this idea for collectors or fans who buy the physical copy of the CD or album, and force them to buy the entire album twice if they want the bonus tracks. My review had 7 "likes", putting it at the top of the review page last I checked, but it's now gone. They deleted it. I didn't use foul language or anything. They must not want us conspiring and fighting back, so they threw a little water on that fire. What a sick & nasty thing to do in the first place, as if our $1.29 for the tracks alone isn't enough. Back to my original rant, I expect this arrogance and self righteousness from pop stars, but what the heck happened to rock n roll, Lamb Of God? This was a genre built on sticking it to the man, now the bands participate in sticking it to their fans and milking their wallet for any penny they can get. Obviously LOG isn't the only band doing this, but they're who I'm writing about. Get rich or die trying!! Might as well feature Kanye West on the next album.

Beast!!. LOG's best album.

OhMy(lamb of)God!!. I went out and bought this album a few days after it came out, and after hearing the single "Ghost Walking" I knew it was gonna be amazing.. Soo I put the cd in the cd player thing in my car, and I swear to god, a giant fist came out and punched me in the face!! This album is more than I was expecting. LoG just keep getting better with each album, and although Sacrament is my fave.. This one is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo brutally, amazingly heavy!! Haha \m/ \m/

Good. Kinda disappointing though was hoping they would beat Ashes of the Wake... But none the less good album instrumentally, but lyrically it is lacking.

l.o.g. is the $h!t. I think it's better than Wrath but maybe not as good as sacrament...haven't decided yet... Butprettydam good

Sound Progression. I have been a faithful fan of LoG for several years now. Without a doubt my favorite albums are New American Gospel, Ashes of the Wake, and As the Palaces Burn. Not really in any particular order seeing as how each album has its own distinct and resonating factor that makes me enjoy and respect LoG. I wasnt too sure about Sacrament when it came out but eventually ended up playing that album on constant repeat in my truck. Wrath, to me, was a breath of fresh air that seemed, in many ways, like they were grasping for their roots while at the same time trying to evolve to the next level. I have recently purchased Resolution and I am finding myself turning it louder and louder to the behest of my neighbors here in the barracks. This album shows definite signs of them staying true to their roots but still looking to the future and allowing some change to occur. I love this album and will likely keep this playing on my iPod for quite some time. Keep it coming guys!

Love it. All songs in this album is awsome

Are you kidding me. Log is log same drop d stuff , i never heard drop d from any other band but let me know if there is . Randy is still at top of his game even though they sound the same they havent gotten softer at all plus there legendary , there all in there 40 s what more do you want they can get a little softer if they want whats the big deal . In concert they barly even head bang like back in. 04 . Randys voise is so brutal. It sounds like he ate nails and stuff like that. I have all of there albums exsept for resolution and they are the best. All those people that are hating cause the band didnt change or other stuff like that , give them a break they sound better than ever. No hard feelings to the haters

Sacrament. Was the worst log album this is ten time better

Beast of an album. King Me is probably the best song I have ever heard. I'd rate Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament a little higher than this album, but Lamb of God is so good and this album is so good that I'm still giving it 5 stars.

What?. All the people who say this album was a dissappointment really need to give it another try.... granted yes there aren't many real grab you by the balls hooks like Sacrament but every album has to be different or you same people will be crying about "Oh, its just Sacrament all over again!" The transition from "Straight to the Sun" to "Desolation" is thus far my favorite part of this album, Chris Adler is just nasty on the drums.

Amazing. This is a very underrated album. People have no reason to hate on it because it is extremely good. King Me, Ghost Walking, Desolation, and Insurrection are some of the best songs on the album! Check it out! You won't be sorry!

Also disappointed. There are some gems on this album like desolution and the undertow, but Sacrament and even Wrath make this album in its entirety sound like pop music.

Their best album. Simply their best album. Judged on the percentage of songs I like on this album compared to the percentage of songs I like on their other albums.

Its not their best album but its Definitely still LOG!. I have no idea how those few people think this doesn't sound like LOG?? This album is definitely brutal american metal! They are using the same exact scales as all the preseeding albums and all the same instrumental techniques. It is not their best album, that is obvious but still a great master piece.

Lost their sound. I understand that they are trying to make every album unique but this just isn't the lamb of god I love, there missing the mixture of intensity and melody that made them special , this album focuses far to much on making a new sound for lamb of god. If u ask me ashes in the wake, as the palaces burn, and wrath were the best

King Me. I am not a fan of Lamb of God. I have been trying to be. When they did something different and more dark industrial, "King Me" had chills going down my arms. It takes that little piece of beauty to get me hooked on metal. And I'm glad they did it. Overall, this is a great album. My husband loves it and so I get to listen to it often. For people who like Lamb of God, I think this is a terrific fresh album they'll love until the next one comes along.

Brutal.. I own a hard copy of this CD and I LOVE it.

Unbelievable!. I can't stop listening to it and the more I do the better it sounds...."waiting for the ghost to biiiiiiite!!!!" Track 4 I love that line!

Eh. Not that impressed with this album. Some of the songs or most of the songs just sounded like filler songs and not good in my opinion. I really liked desolation ghost walking king me the number six insurrection and terminally unique. So I only like about half the album the other songs in my opinion just were sloppy and had a weird sound to it. Still love Lamb of God though

Wrath is still the best sounding album but... I applaud not spelled right chris people say its no different but he is banching out with his drumming invictus had some really cool sections like I say all the time wrath is still sonically the best record from an engineering standpoint

Hard earned dollars. I never thought that I would ever say this about LOG but purchasing this album was a HUGE DISAPOINTMENT!

I agree with Iskeeyou. Something is seriously off. I tried and tried but nothing. I'm not hooked. I could listen to Wrath, Sacrament any of the other stuff for days, weeks/ months over and over and enjoy it. This does nothing. It's like listening to a weather report playing, and after its over wondering what the weather will be like for today. I may take a bashing for this review but keep in mind it's only my opinion if it makes you happy to listen to this then enjoy it.

Worth the price just for "The Undertow". The Undertow is one of the greatest metal songs ever. Seriously. Wrath was a subpar album, this is back amongst the better ones, even if it is no Ashes of the Wake.

Worst lamb of god album. Lamb of god is my favorite music listen to all of their music weekly almost daily and it feels like they were confused when making this album. Kinda like when Metallica made the st. Anger album. I was extremely disappointed with the entire album.
