This Generation’s Marshall Mathers LP. This album really reminded me of MMLP in a lot of way. Like MMLP, Goblin is a violent, offensive response to controversy with hints of genuine agony from the artist. If you like old Eminem, you’ll definitely like this album.

the hell IS THIS. once again Tyler just starts talking into the mic saying some random crap… he is always so mad and his voice sounds like a dying old man with an extremely deep voice. I can't go a minute into this song without throwing my phone because my ears are bleeding to much. don't bother listening to this crap.

👺. Goblin feels weird listening to for the very first time, but after a while you get this eerie vibe Tyler is going for. Great start for a debut, but could’ve been better. Favorite tracks are Goblin, Yonkers, She, Transylvania, Analog, Sandwitches, AU79, and Golden.

For an Indie Loving White Girl..... #3 has some Cypress Hill like undertones. I love the random disclaimer. #5 While I can appreciate the old school horror movie meets hood artistry of it, its a bit ominous and sinister for my blonde femine side. #1 If Chuck Palahniuk and Reverand Run made a step child this would be his story. This song makes me think of what Tyler Durdan and Edward Nortons affair would look like thrown into a ghetto reality. #2 Is musicly my favorite. It's dark and intense, twisted and deranged, even borderline skizophrenic. What impresses me most is an artist who can paint pictures in my head. Why this artist impresses me, is because he only paints me a dark and rotting room where he and I sit in uncomfortable chairs under a single naken bulb. And though he sings me brilliant and demented pictures, they're for me to see through his eyes and not my own. With tracks like Dracula and sandwitches and Radicals to incite uncomfortable reactions from his listeners, he never seems to shy away or falter from his deranged backbone that ironicly gives life to his zombie-esq sound. How a 19 year old posses not ony the twisted and demented fuel for such a fire, but more impressively the maturity and control with which to shar it, and turn it into a hypnotizing song, is beyond commendable. A man who seems to draw confidence and even pleasure from drowning in the decaying waters his childhood, and judgements that todays society has flooded his mind with. Dirty words and unclean thoughts are neither shied aways from nor thrown around carelessly, but rather well thought out and planned to construct the final pictures. Is there such a thing as a goth rap star? I dont think he spouts crazy for the sake of being heard. I think like most of the deranged minds, there is a plan we can't see until his music brings order to the chaos.
