I'm Over You. I'm Over You is one of my favorite country songs ever (Keith Whitley's original), and Chris Young is one of the best country singers ever. I can't tell you how thrilled I am he's covered this.

This is Country!. Chris has a voice that just won't quit, sends chills down my spine. And instead of singing the typical "country" drivel that Nashville has been putting out lately, he sings classic songs. Excellent.

Great Country Music. I love traditional country music!Chris Young has a very traditional voice and is great.However that being said I still love the original version of Chiseled In Stone by Vern Gosdin way better.Chris did a great job though.

Chris has an uncanny ability to take a cover song and make it his own. He respects the artists who made these songs hits and does them honor. I'm am thrilled to have this in my collection. Can't wait for more music from Chris. He is amazing.

More more more!!!!. I LOVE this EP!! Chris did an AMAZING job with all over these songs. I've heard him do a cover of a few of Keith Whitley's other songs and they are all amazing. He's the only one that I've heard so far that even comes close to doing justice to Keith's music. I would love for him to come out with a CD that had more of Keiths songs on it. Maybe a tribute CD or another EP??? Love, love, love Chris!!! He's one of the few new country artists that are being played on the radio today that I think actaully has tallent.

Excellent gift to Chris fans!. Having heard Chris do live versions of these songs, I was very excited to learn that he had recorded them. Downloaded the day they were available & I've listened to them over and over again. Beautiful, soulful voice + great classics = a real treat to Chris's fans!

Throwback Country. If your gonna cover real country music Vern Goslin and Kieth Witley are definitely the way to go!!

This is Country Music!. Considering the trend country music has been following for the past decade, new artists sound more pop than country, there are a few artists that come out of the wooodwork and produce something that sounds the way country music is intended. Covering Keith Whitley and John Anderson isn't an easy task to pull off, but Chris Young does a terrific job putting his own flavor onto some great country classics. This E.P. is definately worth a listen. I'm not a hardcore country music listener anymore, but this gives me hope that country music could make a comeback. Chris Young definately can sing, and he once again proves himself on this E.P. Good stuff here....
