👌. One of my favorite MMJ albums, hands down!

"Don't try to tell me there's another boy...". AWESOME album! Me and my buds use to stay up late with my door wide open facing the beautiful San Diego skyline enjoying the cool summer air, drinking beer, smoking cigarettes (among other things) and just chillin'. Really brings back a lot of memories. Very special album indeed, from begining to end. "Heartbreakin Man" got it going and all night we'd jam and sing along. Jim James is my boy> Every song is so emotional in its raw power. A very near and dear album to me. I hope some of you out there feel the same. BUY IT!

Haven't listened to it yet. HaHa bet u all are jealous!. I have been discovering these guys in reverse order of their albums and they are great.

Amazing. I saw these guys live at Madison Square Garden on 12/14/11. Best day of my life. I only had At Dawn and Circuital before I went. I got home at 2 in the morning and bought every single song. When I woke up the next morning I didn't know what to do with myself. These guys changed my life! Thank you soooooo much My Morning Jacket! Keep those records comin!!!!!

Good ol' Days of MMJ. If you have ventured this far into the catalogue of MMJ albums, then I commend you. This album is wildly different from the "heaver" Z and Evil Urges. The Tennessee Fire, along with MMJ’s live "Okonokos" are my favorite MMJ albums. The only way I can think of describing these songs is: They have heart. "I Will Be There When You Die" is an undeniably moving song, "War Begun", "The Dark", "The Bear", and "Its About Twilight Now" are personal favorites. If you are looking for an album similar to Z or Evil Urges this is not it, but If you are looking for well written, soul-bearing songs that will make you feel something, it is hard to beat the songs on The Tennessee Fire.

Reverb. All of these songs are good. They make ya feel like flyin'.

The Tennessee Fire. This is one of my personal favorite My Morning Jacket albums. This album has a great flow, track after track. Also, this album has great vocals, great drum solos, and great guitar solos as well. Finally, the instruments wrap around the vocals like no other, and intertwine perfectly creating a perfect album for relaxation. Definitely looking forward to the next limited play album, and extended play album.

Great!. One of my favorite albums! It is much more relaxed and beautiful than other of their albums like Evil Urges. Don't get me wrong Evil Urges is good but doesn't match up with this.They should keep their old style

One of the greats!. Absolutely one of the best albums of all time in my humble opinion. Moving, heartfelt, and completely genuine from start to finish. If you are reading this buy the album, listen to it with a buzz while you are in a melancholy mood and it will stir your soul.

So much heart.... I love everything MMJ have created, my first record I bought being "Live at Okonokos", which I still hold to be the best. Tennessee fire has so much heart and is so intimate and raw, every song has a very opened heartfelt feel to it. These guys weren't looking to polish and over produce these rugged gorgeous songs, they have shown how much pure emotion and imperfection can be the most glorious of things. I love it. Probably my favorite of their studio albums.

what I feel when i listen to this song. I wonder if my morning jacket knows that people do PEOPLE stuff to their songs. Like do they know that people have sex and then listen and then pee and then listen some more and then spill some water and then sweep the water and broken coffee cups up and then wonder what the lyrics mean in their daily lives because of all the stuff that has just happened to their song? I hope so. This is what i get from listening to them. It's like a trip to California in the desert in the night. There's so much happening happening that you can't stop it. It's life and I can't stop it and I and I LIKE IT.

Plinky plonk. Haunting, emotional, beautiful country. All those cliches and more. This is a great album, I have played this to death and still love it.

No point in writing a review. Anything I write here doesn't give you an idea of how beautiful this album is to listen to. I don't normally write reviews. Just trust me and listen to this.
