My teenage years!. I love most of these songs. In fact, over half of them are the top 100 songs of my high school years. It’s amazing how I have sound tracks that go with certain stages of my life. I come back now, and the wonderful memories that go with these songs make me smile and relax. I hope other people can enjoy these the way I do!

Chicago. They're awesome

Bobby Bee on Chicago... I haven't eveen bought the albulm (as of this entry) but I've ALWAYS loved them. It's the music of my time!! Plain & simple, and probably yours Baby Boomers (50s babies), we were coming into our own, so there was no Black music,White music. We were just as enthralled w/ the Beatles (and Chicago) as Caucasian people were w/ Aretha & James Brown. OK? Music, remember - is the UNIVERSAL language..Peace

Disappointed. While the songs and the group are iconic, this rendition has been over dubbed auto tuned and the EVs manipulated to such a degree that the songs are disturbingly distorted from the original renditions. It is disappointing to listen to.

There First 2 Discs are Classics, Not to be Topped. The last disc is painful to listen to. Absolutely ruled by commerce. The last Track? "Sing Sing Sing" …. HURTS MY SOUL. AWFUL!! I should have listened before buying. It's an abomination.

Very best of Chicago. This is a very good album. I have been a Chicago fan from the begining and love the style of music. I just wish iTunes would put "Group Portrait" on the list of albums to download. I would get all 4 in a heart beat. What about it iTunes?

Love this album!. Loved this band since 1969 when they were Chicago Transit Authority,I've been to over 22 concerts,last one being at Great Woods in Foxboro Mass. Even with Peter Cetera missing,they are still phenominal!! Chicago is and always will be my all time favorite band! I still have a dozen albums & 21 C.DS I saw Peter Cetra in 2010 at the HacthShell,and he is still fantastic!

Don't Buy!. The sound quality of these recordsings is terrible. The bass is muddy, the mid frequencies and highs are garbled. This needs remastering. They must have used a copy of the original acetates or ever worse, an old, weathered, LP to master this from. Don't buy it. Instead, opt for Chicago IX which has far better sound, though half as many tracks. These are some of the worst recordings I've ever heard from any artist in the entire iTunes library. JUST SAY NO THANKS!

Chicago is great. I wonder how many band kids bought this for 25 or 6 to 4, because I sure did!

Awesome. Loved Chicago since the early 70's when I practically wore out Chicago II on my turntable (remember them?)...recently saw them in concert with REO and they were awesome!! This album has everything you would want on a Greatest Hits album!!!

realmusicman. These days, there are only a few bands/artists that make real good music. Alot of artists can barely sing yet they computerize their voices in the studio and screw up during live performances.Chicago is one of the best examples of pure musical talent. They dont need their voices computerized or any trash like that. They expertly join each instument together like a puzzle to create masterpiece after masterpiece. This album is a handful of their best work that no one can miss. Not to mention that This is probably one of the only times that you will see a deal this good on itunes.

The very best of Chicago. Another one of the wonderful albums that my 75 year old spirit keeps singing and remembering all of the great times in my life! Well worth buying for your daily listening on iTunes. Thanks.

Awesome band. This is GREAT stuff. Today's music can't even hold a candle to Chicago's time-tested classic hits. Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rhianna... Who ARE these people?? The music of Chicago speaks for itself... And if anyone hasn't done so in recent years, I strongly suggest going to their concerts... Came to Pittsburgh at the end of May and it was FANTASTIC. These guys are proof that actual musical talent is built to last. I hope to see them at least one more time.

great album and awesome band. I fell in love with there music when i was like 4 years old when my dad played there records. My favorite sone is and will always be will You Still Love Me? just because it reminds me of someone that i met 10 years ago and fell in love with. Brings tears to my eyes every time i hear it. Awesome lyrics that are so powerful and moving. One of my favorite bands. You will not be disapointed.

It "Makes Me Smile". My music consists of van halen Aerosmith the beatles motley crue, and so on. But this is one of my favorite albums of all time. Terry has one of the best voices I've ever heard. Did I mention I am 12? (I'm on my sisters account I hate twilight)

AMAZING ALBUM!!:). This album is one of the best albums in the world!!! My absolute favorite song is "Baby What a Big Surprise"!! I love it to death!! I definitely recommend it! I recommend the whole album!!:)

Terry Kath.....is Chicago.. I can see how someone would like the newer Chicago, but to me there is no Chicago without Terry Kath. He truly embodied the sound of the early 70's. His voice is so rich and original and his guitar work speaks for itself.

Nothing like this album. There is nothing like what Chicago puts out in their music. Such a variety from horns to vocals to drums. Good for the average musician to listen to something like this.

Worcester, MA -- The Centrum -- Early 1980. My sister was working for Digital Computer, who handled The Centrum's computer needs, during the early 1980s. She got a couple of tickets to see CHICAGO (at the Centrum) and asked me if I wanted to go with her to the concert. I wasn't too excited about going until they started playing. It was the best concert I've ever attended. Hands down. Perfect volume, Excellent sound system and lighting. So, enjoy a great band jammin' some smooth tunes.

killer vocals!. Between Jason Scheff and Peter Cetera Chicago just had the best sound! Will You Still Love me is one of the best songs to come out of the 1980s. I have this song on my ipod and play it every morning. Never get tired of this song. Chicago was a band I grew up with and these songs just make my mornings...

Great Album. Auto-tune was not used which proves that Chicago has so much more talent than artists today and they produce great, catchy and iconic music.

Chicago. I'm not sure who the editor/first reviewer was, but it's clear they haven't passed High chool music appreciation class. Chicago was all about the HORNS! The rest of the ensemble were accompaniment to that brass section. These guys were jazz students when they formed this band, and were virtuoso instrumentalists. My God, they didn't even mention this in their "review" Now go back to the first 3 albums, turn up your volume and listen to one of the best horn sections EVER. I don't think the reviewer listen to this band AT ALL. Please don't take the idiotic blathering of a clueless wanna-be reviewer. This band was full of exceptional musicians who took their music seriously. I'm still shaking my head. ugh.

An awesome collection by one of the greatest bands in history. Even as a 13 year old in an age where this kind of music is half a century old, I LOVE this album.
