Yoga Nidra is excellent. I have been doing various relaxation techniques including Yoga for many years and I have found this Yoga Nidra track one of the best I have ever heard. For this kind of work you need someone who not only has a pleasant voice but also someone who conveys the right "vibe". Every time I play it I go very deep.

Great for travelling. As a international traveller who goes to europe and asia every year, I have found putting this album on my iPod has been indespensible to help me with jet lag and stress not only when I arrive at a new destination but during the long intercontinental flights. I put each sleep aid in a separate playlist so that when it finishes, and I am asleep, it does not continue on to the next sleep aid. My favorite: Yoga Nidra!

High quality recording, very good effort. I toss and turn a lot at night, sometimes for many hours. The meditations made me relax so I don't feel the usual anxiety of not being able to stay awake. I started to get into meditation and I found it is very effective, along with relgular exercise, in reducing my stress level.

Every Single Night!. My boyfriend and I both have severe ADHD and this guys album helps us both fall asleep within 15 minutes of listening to him. Your entire body becomes quiet, mind is still, and his words will soothe your soul in many different ways. We highly reccomend purchacing this album if you want to feel completely relaxed!

I LOVE this!. I can not say enough wonderful things about the Deep Sleep Journey. I wish I had found this during my years of insomnia. I find that I have to visualize the directions he gives at the beginning (notice what is above you... and imagining myself actually going down the stairs) and I am asleep FAST. I find the message on this to be very kind, gentle, relaxing, and feel safe listening to it. I like that he mentions that if there is any need to wake up that that will happen easily because I worried that I would be too deeply asleep to know if there was an emergency or something, but no-I have even woken up to use the restroom and gone back to a restful sleep. I created a playlist with the 5 minute relation track and even 10 minutes of white noise first and then have Deep Sleep twice. I never hear the second one, but this helps me relax knowing it is there. if I am awake by the "bottom of the stairs" sometimes I will start the playlist over. I just feel I need a few minutes to relax before starting Deep Sleep playing for it to work for me. I love it so much that I even bought it for friends. Highly recommend. :) Edit: I can see what others mention about him starting talking after a period of quiet and for me I don't react to that since I have listened so many times. If the stopping and starting bother you maybe try to listen a few times awake to get the flow of it all and not be startled/surprised when he speaks again. I agree to only have one track from this play at a session. As I mention earlier, I added a white noise track to go before Deep Sleep Journey or other times I add 5 minute rescue from his other album before Deep Sleep Journey. I just like to take a few minutes to slow my breathing down and clear my mind before going down the stairs. :)

IT REALLY WORKS!. I was very skeptical about trying this. I have been on every med. for insomnia and tried every relaxation technique, so I decided to give this a try. I normally average about 2 hours of sleep a night. Once I put this on, I didn't even get thru the whole thing before falling asleep. The second night I did get farther, but I got an even more rested nights sleep and feel great! I went to bed last night at 8 pm, and am only up early now due to how much rest I got!!!! I really do recommend this to anyone. I am a believer and will definately check out other titles by this author. Thank you Dr. Shah!!!!

Sleep Aid With Dr. Siddharth. Three separate sleep hypnosis sessions in this album, each session lasting 25-33 minutes. Series 2 in this album (approx 30 minutes was a waste-did not put me to sleep). The other two were outstanding. After listening to these sessions, I found 5 out of 6 times, I was able to sleep sound and deep. I'd recommend. It's worth the $10.00.

Wow.... I've tried several of these - this is the first that seems to actually work -- some of the others are so vegasy they actually keep me awake. I'm almost worried this is too good :).

Effective way to have deep sleep and get rid of stress. I can attest that a regular practice of meditation definitely helps get rid of stress and has made me more calm and free. No tapes are necessary really for meditating, just focus on your breath or the aliveness of your body, but still wonderful tools like this one are really effective. The instructions are clear, the voice is very pleasant and the meditations are done very well with high production value. Very well done.

Terrible. this is the worst sleep mediation i have heard … the voice is annoying and he is bascially naming all the body parts with the sound of the ocean in the background.. Real genus … i think not. do not spend your money on this one. I’m trying to get my money back. ugh

Thank You DR. Shah. I'm really glad I found this CD. I always struggle with going to sleep and have been on medication for over a year. I will try almost anything to help me go to sleep and I'm so happy I found this CD! It has really help me to get calm and relaxed and to understand how to achieve this state every night. Since I started listening to the cd I have been falling asleep sooner and staying asleep longer. I still take my medication but hope to get off it soon and think I can if I keep following Dr Shah's technique I will very soon.

Rip off. I purchased this album last night for 9.99 and only got TWO of three tracks and both tracks were less than 10 minutes. Extremely unhappy.

A fan now. I don't have a sleeping problem per se but I have gotten into meditation because I have an over active mind. Doing this meditation defintiely but me into a better space in my head where I feel more restful sleep. I tend to not have deep sleep....this definitely helped.

Wonderful Sleep. I have been using this album for about a year. It really seems to get me into a relaxed and restful sleep. I actually forgot I had this and one night while traveling, I had issues sleeping. Searching through my music collection, I found this again and it still works like a charm.

Soothing voice, very effective technique. After experiencing a lot of sleep difficulties and trying/not succeeding with various "sound" remedies (i.e., white noise, guided meditations, etc.), I was pretty desperate. I don't know how I found this CD, but I am very glad I did. Dr. Shah's gentle voice and technique are extremely effective - for the first time in years I am able to get a full night's sleep. The most productive part of the 1st and 3rd track is his assurance that should I wake up in the middle of the night, I will be able to get back to sleep ... this has been extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

Very good. I like the concept of this, to the point and it gets the job done.

Not for me. Personally I find Dr. Shah's voice more distracting than helpful. He doesn't have the ease of speaking that I would expect to hear with a meditation guide. There are times when he actually breaks me out of the meditation because of how choppy his phrases and words are. Check out Dr. Andrew Johnson's apps "Relax with Andrew Johnson" and "Deep Sleep with Andrew Johnson". He's amazing and his voice is like warm brandy!

The great reviews are true!. I feel I have much in common with the other reviewers i.e. trouble sleeping, don't want medications, racing thoughts at nights etc...The reviews are true. I was skeptical but I have rarely made it through a session without passing out before the end. The more stressed I am, the faster it works! Worth my money!

SUPER!. I have had horribly trouble with sleeping for some time... tried meds.. nothing works or if it does it makes me so groggy I cannot function the next day.. I think I have finally found my answer! This WORKS!!!! WELL WORTH THE $$$

Problem download. Just bought this and each one ends abruptly after about five minutes. Is there is fix or how do I get my 9.99 refunded?

Works wonders. The Yoga Nidra track is amazing, I don't think I have yet to listen to it all the way through. Really allows me to relax and get a wonderful night's sleep.

Problem with audio. I just bought and downloaded it. But when I tried playing it. It would not play. It does not have sound. Can I just get a refund on this?

Hummm...not for me I am afraid...... This fellow's voice, while pleasant, made me crazy. It interrupted my peace and kept me awake! It is particularly annoying to be conked out at the end of the first passage only to have him startle you back into reality when he begins to speak in the next piece. Sorry this approach just does not work for me. I prefer just plain repitious sounds with no distractions.

Track One. Knocks me out every time.

Good but needs improvement. It puts me to sleep in a short time but Dr Siddharth’s voice is interrupting and waking me up each time he starts to talk again. This is because his voice enters after a period of quit music or silence. If the level of the music and his voice were similar and continuance it would have been an excellent sleep meditation enhancer.

Helpful for me. I have a very disruptive sleep disorder brought on by pain in my back. It causes me to jerk awake right as I fall asleep. I have tried lots of things to get past this, but this cd is the first thing that's showing promising results. Each night I use it I feel it works more effectively. I slept for a few hours for the first time in weeks the first time I used it & now after a week I'm getting around 5 hours. I also feel more rested during the day. I notice that I'm falling asleep before the session ends now, too. As for the voice coming back on after moments of silence, I recommend just turning the volume low so you can just barely make out his words...this worked for me & I was no longer jerked back awake.

Amazing.... ...simply amazing. Again, I find this is not as much a hypnosis CD as a guided meditation (exactly what Yoga Nidra for beginners should be), but this is amazing content none-the-less. I find I gain a more restful sleep after listening to Dr. Shah's calm, steady (and never monotone) voice. Kudos!

Completely Satisfied. I have several audio books on sleep hypnosis. I am the most satisfied with this set of tracks. My favorite is Maintaining Deep Sleep. Even after months of using, I still fall asleep quickly and I stay asleep through the night and wake up rested. I highly recommend.

I slept like a log! 3 Tracks = 3 great nights of restful sleep :-). Each night I listened to one of the three tracks. I only ever heard about 3-5 minutes of each one as I was fast asleep and slept through the night. So far I've had four great nights rest. One night I forgot to set the iPod to play only the one track and I awakened for a moment as the next track played. It's good to remember to play only one at a time, which I believe is the intention. Thanks :-)

Unique and effective. What a great deal this is. Each relaxation technique is solid and stands on its own. I especially love th Yoga Nidra Relaxation and the Deep Sleep Journey. I was out half way through listening to them!

wow!. I am amazed and fascinated by this. I always wake up in the middle of the night tossing and turning. The problem has been solved. My 20 steps is a winding staircase onto the beach and my choice between sleep and relaxation is a hammock or a comfy chair with a book. It seems as soon as I even "look" in the direction of the hammock.... it's morning. wow! Fascinated as to how this works. Thankyou!!

Best 10 bucks ever invested. I was scheptical, but this works.

Great Buy!. All three tracks are great. I use Track 3 quite often just as I lay down to sleep and it plays through my alarm clock speakers. I use Track 2 often but typically during the day when I need to decompress- only good when I use headphones. Track 1 I use when I want to switch up with Track 3, also without using headphones. I find that Tracks 1 and 3 are great with or without headphones but Track 2 I find to be effective only when using headphones. This is one of the best albums I've bought for sleep and relaxation.

My Favourite. This was the best of the many spoken word sleep aids I've purchased. All 3 tracks on the album were effective, but my favourite was the second. It's worth trying.
