Worth the entire album for "Baby it's Cold Outside".. I wasn't sure why I had to get the entire album for "baby it's cold", but I'm glad I did. Martina has given us the ultimate Christmas album. Fantastic voice, with a timeless collection of recordings, like her incredible version of "O Holy Night". And she and Dean Martin now have THE DEFINITIVE version of "Baby it's Cold Outside", I love it! A classic album for years to come.

great album but.... grrrrr itunes. I had bought the Martina first White Christmas album. When I joined itunes, I added the songs not on the first album except it will not let me get the dean martin duet unless I buy the whole album. well I did buy all the other songs when I bought it first in the stores, and I paid another 5.00 to d/l the songs not on my studio version.( itunes person If you check my library you will see I uploaded the album and d/l the rest of the somgs) But without spending 5.00 for that one song and letting them duplicate the songs I have. I do not get that song. My only hope is if they put it on another various artist or free d/l next christmas, it is just frustrating. the album it self is great though she has an incredible voice.

White Christmas. Absolutely beautiful album! I usually don't like when country stars add a lot of extra notes to a traditional carol but Martina does a gorgeous job in just the right places! Highly recommend!

Christmas songs as they were. This album is rich in the tradition Christmas music. It not updated or stylized just pure old time Christmas songs as sung by Bing Crosby and others. Great gift for young and old to keep traditional music alive today.

The BEST Christmas Album EVER.. Looking for the perfect Holiday album? This is it. Truely perfect. My favorites are: Have Yourself A Merry Christmas, Do You Hear What I Hear, O Come All Ye Faithful, What Child Is This, and especially O Holy Night.

A Christmas Music Enthusiast. I must own 75 different Christmas albums, easily. This by far is my favorite and gets the most play. Her voice is pristine and perfect. Her execution of the songs is on mark, but never boring. If I had to choose just one album, this would be it.

Timeless Christmas Collection. This is a timeless collection of Christmas favorites, beautifully sung by Martina with her amazing voice. Although Martina typically sings country music, these songs are not sung in a "country" manner. Instead, she sings each of these songs in a classic way (probably like she grew up hearing and singing them). I believe this is an album that will stand the test of time -- it will sound as good in 20 years as it does today. If you are looking for a Christmas album that you will play again and again, buy this one!

Great Purchase. I'm not a huge country fan but it is undeniable that Martina McBride can belt out a heartfelt song with the best of them. Her strong voice and Christian values are just a couple reasons I purchased her Christmas CD and am loving EVERY song.

Get the words right!!!. In What Child is This, the words are "Haste,haste, to bring him LAUD" not "grace." Get it right!!!!!

Review from a Scrooge. I hate Christmas music. It is played entirely too early in the year. That being said, I personally only keep two Christmas albums with me during the holidays, Christmas, by Alabama, and this one. It is beautiful and timeless. You won't go wrong with this purchase.

Still a good one. This is still a beautiful Christmas album even though it's several years old. Martina is timeless! Worth every penny. Her rendition of "O Holy Night" still gives me goosebumps.

Martina is THE BEST female vocalist in country music EVER. No one can sing songs like she can. Christmas songs move me the most when they're sung by her. O Holy Night moved me so much that I tried to sing it in our school's winter concert, but another way-less-than-perfect girl got it instead. Yes, it made me upset, but I definitely learned from it: not everyone can sing this song. Only the best (Martina for example) can make it move a person like she does. Martina McBride, you are blessed beyond belief. Sing your heart out forever and ever, and I will listen forever and ever!

So Not Fair!. This is a great album and Martina is spectacular...I bought this album in the stores and it had every song incuded here except "baby it's cold outside!" I would love to have it but I don't want to buy the whole album over again!

LOVE IT. I have to agree with what someone else wrote...Martina sings the classic Xmas songs they way they were meant to be sung. She doesn't put her own twist to it, so if you're not a country fan do not hesitate to buy. She's sings them flawlessly just the way you remember them.

The best of times.. The songs I knew as a child. Takes me back. Beautifully sung. The word is "nostalgia." Christmas without complications, just celebration. Worship without conflict in schools, churches, and communities. Who would ever suspect that in my life those would be the best of times.

Silver bells!!. We did Silver Bells for The Christmas Concert last year when I was in 3rd grade!!! Now I’m in 4th grade and the songs we are doing for 4th grade for the Christmas concert is: Amen, Holly and the Ivy, Winter Wonderland, Jingle Bell Rock, And Light One Candle.

Wonderful Traditional/pop album!!!. This album is great! All the songs are wonderfully entertaining - Martina delivers Christmas in a beautifully traditional way. Got this album last year; it's my fav so far. I'm not into country, but when I first listened to these songs, I became a Martina fan! Get this album, you won't regret it!

Great county song. Purchased “Do You Hear What I Hear” and it’s a great country song for the Christmas season! Have always loved Martia McBride’s music and am incorporating a “little country” into my Christmas play list for my spin class!!

Martina's White Christmas - pretty but...... There are a couple things I really like about this album. First song selection. Some of my favorites, and I especially like that Martina isn't afraid to mix the secular (The Chrismas Song, Silver Bells etc) with the Sacred. Let's face it, Martina has the most pure, techmicaly perfect voice in Country music, if not all of Pop music. She is an awesome singer. However, here's where the album fall short for me. She doesn't take a lot of risks on this album. In fact it's so syruppy sweet it starts to sound like a Double Mint gum or State Farm jingle after a while. And the fact that this album was recorded 12 years ago, it's starting to sound a little dated, both in the arrangements and recording techniques. But not in a good or "classic" way, just in a dated kind of way. I'd love to hear her do an updated Christmas album. HIghlights on the album are: "Have Yourself" and "I'll Be Home". Lowlights are "Hark! The Hearald" with it's Renaissance Fair/Medivial Times arrangement, it's just plain out of place and hokey on this album. My advice is to cherry pick the songs and combine this in a play list with other great Christmas Songs.

I never write reviews, but had to for this one. This is a very beautifully done Christmas album. I am not a listener of country music, but have heard great things about Martina McBride. This is now one of my favorite Christmas CDs! Very tastefully done and her voice is very pleasing to listen to.
