Brave - One of the Best Albums of 2022!. This collaboration between Tom MacDonald and Adam Calhoun was the one no one saw coming and we didn’t know we needed. When these two became friends and decided to team up, it was like putting a match to gasoline fumes! Explosive. The entire album is thought provoking. Some songs may be too real, too politically charged, or thought of as wrong-think by some. It’s art. I like the fact that both these artists have the freedom and attitude to say what they want as independent artists. We All Got Some Things ft. Struggle Jennings is a song that touched me. It reminds us all that no matter who we are, we have some past or hang up. “Demons chase the brave and they chose you.” and “Stop living in the day it all broke you.” Remind us we’re stronger than whatever we’re battling and to live in the now. I love In God We Trust and the truthful nature of the song itself. I like Whiteboyz since Tom and Adam got “rednecks” and all fairly accurate. I think they were having a little fun with that song though. New World Order is one I like. I like Smoke for the laid back beat and lyrics. There isn’t a single bad song on the album. It’s one you can put on your playlist and enjoy through.
