Stop Jimmy. How do I start with this? Well I’ll just keep it simple. This Holiday, R&B style pop tune that contains Auto-Tuned vocals from Fallon singing about how it’s Christmas time and how “We’ll be in line for a booster” is just a sad reminder on how out of touch the rich and famous can be sometimes. The only reason why they’re doing this is because someone paid them to do it. As a fan of Fallon, he has definitely had some moments where he has tried too hard too be cool or funny, but this one is the ultimate dud. Not just that, the instrumental sounds like a leftover from Justin Bieber’s Changes. Megan Thee Stallion adds absolutely nothing to the track. She’s just there. But the biggest disappointment about the whole thing is seeing Ariana on here. GOD!! What was she thinking? And it’s not just that, Ariana’s performance here is the pure definition of Fatigued and Warn Out. She sounds like she just doesn’t give a crap about what she sounds like anymore. Even when she put out Positions which is not her greatest album, she still sounded fresh. Here her vocals being heavily drenched in Reverb singing about she doesn’t want to be alone during the holidays, despite the fact that she’s a married woman worth millions living in a mansion and doesn’t know what it’s actually like to not have to see your family during the holidays due to COVID restrictions is just cringe. Also, remember the time she got caught on camera spitting and licking on unpaid donuts? Yeah, I don’t think she’s the best person to talk about this. She’s pretty much becoming the new Snoop Dogg of the pop world where she’ll literally show up anywhere for a paycheque because why TF NOT?! Anyways to sum up, I could forgive all of that, if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s a real song that’s played on radio. Pop Radio. Ultimate slap in the face. Also I recently just found out, the only reason why they’re doing this is because a bill was signed to pay millions of dollars to celebrities to promote vaccines since they have a voice.
