Definitely Recommend. Who Am I? definitely has a different sound compared to their last album, My Mind Makes Noises, but I love this one just as equally. I find that people had the same issue with The 1975 when they released a Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships and Notes On A Conditional Form, the former being my favorite album of theirs. Artist grow and go through different phases of their lives. I’m fortunate that I have been going through a similar growth in my life to where I am able to enjoy the new sound and lyrical change. I would recommend listening to the album chronologically the first couple of times before putting it on shuffle. There hasn’t been a track that I’ve felt the need to skip while listening. It flows perfectly and I think that it’s a great addition to their discography.

Awesome album!!. Loved the album, especially the 2000s pop rock vibes. I actually preferred this style to the previous record as it sounds unique and doesn’t sound like every other indie rock album out there. 10/10

June 2021. I absolutely love the vibes from Who Am I! I’ve had these songs stuck in my head for weeks and it’s nothing like Taylor Swift... Instead this album reminds me of Hey Violet and The 1975 whom I love but Pale waves still has that unique sound that I constantly look for in artists.

Easy, Change?. Overall, not the worst but not the best. 1 star because it’s a Dirty Hit record. 2 more stars because I enjoyed 2 songs off the new record: Change and Easy. The closing track was a welcome break from the monotony of the overall sound of the record. Enjoyed the previous album and Pale Waves opening for The 1975 in 2019. I understand a band and artist grow, but this was just too much generic Avril Lavigne for me to fall in love with. Sorry :(

Falls far short of ‘My Mind Makes Noises’. I’m trying to give this new sound of Pale Waves a chance, but I much prefer the vibe of ‘My Mind Makes Noises’. What happened to the distinctive sound and one-of-a-kind guitar solos? This LP just doesn’t do it for me.
