Something’s missing. I agree with some of the other reviews that something is missing from his music these days. I think he needs to stop producing his own music and go back to letting others like James Stroud do it like in the earlier albums. Yes, he’s a great singer but every song sounds almost the same now. Go back to the steel guitars and more traditional country please. I think that is a big reason he is struggling to get number 1 singles in his last few attempts. I have been a huge fan since his Nashville Star days and that will not change; however, I sure do miss the early days.
