Why doesn’t “rock” music rock anymore?. This is yet another alt-pop band that insists on mixing every genre together so it all sounds like featureless plastic paste. It’s no Imagine Dragons, of which I haven’t liked anything they’ve put out in the past decade except maybe Wrecked. And just like Imagine Dragons, this band has potential. The songs are there… they just sound like garbage, in every sense of the word. There’s a reason Olivia, MGK and Willow are trying to bring guitars back, because all alt/rock has to offer us is this musical equivalent of Silly Putty. Alt/rock, try harder!

Nostalgic and comforting!. Glass animals has a unique vibe, no matter how their music may shift. this album gives an air of nostalgia to it with all the references to things the band and others grew up with. the beats giving a comforting tone. and give a look into things Dave had experienced when he was growing up!

stunning experience. been waiting for this album for a long time...so was very pleased when it finally arrived! I liked the singles a lot so was intersted to hear what else the band had been working o... i was stunned! it's a good album overall, with latest single Heat Waves, finally looking like it will break Glass Animals into the mainstream [much deserved!]. However the standout track for me is It's All So Incredibly Loud which on first hearing completely grabbed my arrtention and, i'm not afraid to say, made me cry... not a sniffle burt a full sob-session. It's a brilliant piece of song writing which toatally engaged my emotions and left me feeling raw and exposed. Any band that can produce something so honest and raw has my full attention and admiration. well done Glass Animals, and i wish you every success on your journey into the [very] big time!
