Reminder😩🖐. So me and my dad don’t have the best relationship because he was never there for me, he was really controlling to my mum and they would fight over the phone all the time so loud I could hear it from upstairs. And when I was only 4 years old i had found out he had gotten with a new woman and had another kid, her names Isla and the thing that hurts is that he was there for her whenever she got hurt, her when she needed help, her when she needed him the most! But I never got that.. I’m currently 10 years old at the moment and my dad still feels like a stranger. I’m scared of him because my mum had to call the police on him because he threaten to break into my house and hurt/kill us, luckily that never happened but it was still traumatising. He had to go to jail for 7 years because he beat up a teenager that just walked past him on the street. So I consider this song as a reminder that my dad, had broke me first..
