Infestation Completion. This album makes you want to jump up and down and scream HELL YEAH I never thought that Gizzard would try their hand at thrash metal but WOW they did a good job

Epic! This Album Kills Posers on Contact!. I recently discovered this band when I had the good fortune to hear the track "Rattlesnake" on local radio. This group is freaking unstoppable! This is an amazing speed metal album. The musicianship, odd time signatures, and overall theme of this is spot on. When one considers that this is the first foray into this style that The Gizz has attempted it seems even more amazing. Performances of this material can be found online and watching them tear through these songs live is mind blowing. In case you didn't know they have 3 guitars, bass, keyboard, synth, and 2 drummers that synch with eachother like machines.

King Gizzard Does It Again. The thrash is tight, and the album makes me want to fly to Venus and burn up in the Sun

If Matt Pike was in Metallica. I’m new to this band, but wow! What an introduction. The thrashy rhythms are definitely indicative of early thrash bands, but I hear a doom band trapped in a thrash band. This is of course much faster than your average doom band, but I definitely get that vibe here. I particularly hear this in my favorite track on the album “superbug.” I highly recommend this album and I will be digging into there more indie roots as well. 5 stars!

What. How the hell did a psych band with no experience in metal just write some of the best thrash I’ve ever heard?

One of their Best. One of the most consistent and creative bands in music today, Infest the Rats' Nest may be one the band's strongest to date. Per usual, the disc is nine tracks and if there's one small gripe is that it's a little on the short side. Honestly I can't name a weak track. If you're a fan of old school thrash metal or just metal in general, then this ablum should please.
