More than the music. First of all this music grows on you after a couple listens. Second its more than the music. Watch the hurricane video, it explains alot, including erics friend’s suicide. Next listen to goodbye, then breaking down, then paranoid, low, LMBS rise above it, and then deadweight. Its the story of what happens after someone takes their life, for that i thank you IP.

Amazing. This album is amazing, as is the rest of their music. So far I haven’t been disappointed by any of their music! Keep on rocking boys 🤟🏻

Amazing. The most incredible album in the history of earth. Every song gives me goosebumps. So much intensity. I liked iprevail in the past but this album is absolutely incredible. I hope they make more like this.

Linkin Park meets Limp Bizkit. It sounds like Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit joined forces with the story that this album has and you may be asking how does a 14 know these two bands it’s my mom who played there song mostly Linkin Park Limp Bizkit I only had known my way and I also dealing with depression (Edit I was wrong bipolar disorder anyway this sounds less limp bizkit and a little linkin park but I prevail is a different band they’re good they have their own styles so deal with it)

Dont sleep on this album. The songs they went with have a much deeper meaning, to those who fail to recognize the affects of suicide, nearly losing your voice and ect, are NOT true I prevail fans. Eric lost a friend to suicide which is what the “goodbye prelude” leads to. Paranoid is the aspect of nearly having to quit singing because of medical issues. No one should be so harsh on these guys like they were with linkin park. That was a huge mistake and ive personally witnessed how fake everyone became when chester died. Seriously though, DONT SLEEP ON THIS ALBUM. You have to listen to the lyrics and hear the songs more than just a couple times. You cant judge just by hearing the song once.

Amazing. This album gives a very accurate portrayal of what it feels like to be in a state of depression. If you don’t like songs that express true deep emotion this album isn’t for you. But even then there are still some sick bangers like Bow down and deadweight. Personally I related to this album very deeply and I think it’s one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Each scream is a release of emotional energy which is why I find Trauma to be a great name for the album. And a lot of the lyrics really hit home to how a lot of people really feel. I’m so happy that one of my favorite bands did an album for them and stuff that related to them on a personal level. I love this band and I don’t think I’ve heard a single bad song from them. Definitely worth the money and listen.

One of the best albums of 2019. I hadn't listened to much I Prevail before this album. I spent most of my listening time around Sevendust, Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Celldweller etc... Some folks compared the album to Linkin Park and others (in some songs it's true), but if you listen closely, there are influences from everywhere. The story behind the album is very powerful too. This is just how it sounded when the music was conceived and it tells a great story. Drums are powerful, guitars and bass are cleanly recorded with lots of gain (love it). Vocals are haunting, moving, aggressive and beautiful!

Awesome. I haven’t stopped listening to this whole album almost daily since I downloaded over a month ago! An album is always better when coming from personal experiences in the musicians life. With mental health being more recognized and less stigmatized, this album really speaks to people and gives a perspective hard to know unless you have been there.

Let me be sad 😔. Great 👍🏻 song 🎵 with relatable lyrics! I Previal has been on a roll since their cover of Blank Space! Probably my favorite 🤩 album 💿 they have made! 🎵 I have a friend who is always happy 😃 and energetic but I am depressed 🖤 and whenever he asks me why I’m sad 😞 and can’t look 👀 on the bright side, I just say “Let me be sad” 😞 I like 👍🏻 to be sad 😔 sometimes… I know I’m sooooo 🤪 emo!🖤 Well, I am depressed but still act happy 😃 sometimes. Thanks 🙏🏻 for helping me with depression and showing me it is healthy to be sad.🥺🥺🥺

Meh. I feel like people like “Sam FM” who think you’re an idiot for not liking this album really have no clue what music is. Music is subjective to the listener. I guess he’s the real idiot here. Nothing in this album warrants a 5-star rating from me. I Prevail’s older stuff is far better. “Every Time You Leave” is a great song, though, but the rest of the album, not so much.

Not what I expected.. I’m not by any means a die hard fan, but I liked heart vs mind and decided to give this album a try. Wish it was heavier. Bow down is great, but it might be the only song I continually listen to. Lot of Linkin Park type rap/verses too. Idk. I’m gonna try their older albums.

i need less screaming. i’m not into the heavy stuff. i don’t belong here is amazing. if they released an album with all songs like that i’d be obsessed. ive never really listened to them until they popped up on my itunes preorder section, so i took a listen to Bow Down and the stuff when the guy isn’t screaming his lungs out sounds sooooo good. i would listen to that kinda stuff allllll day. wish more songs were like that. hopefully they’ll make an album that has more songs like i don’t belong here. i’m rlly hoping.

Absolutely Incredible. From beginning to end the album has a different variety with each song. Hits home for a lot of mental issues, such as the voice in the back of your head in Breaking Down, “Everybody ****ing hates you”, hits hard! Even to Let Me Be Sad having, “It’s the only feeling I have left” gives me release. I listen to this album on a daily basis! Give this album a chance!

Blah. E singing is so retro and embraced way to much by today’s singers.

I love this!. This is a great album! Gasoline, Bow Down, Let Me Be Sad and Paranoid are fantastic tracks! I Prevail has a very unique sound with fantastic vocalists. If you like Metal Core music, or Metal with Electronic elements, get this album!

Great album, great band. Haven’t heard a song on the album that is skip able so therefore it’s a masterpiece of its own. All the lyrics especially in Breaking Down have meaning while at the same time keeping rock and metal alive. Also not sure if anyone else noticed but there seems to be a Linkin Park influence on the band which is also awesome.

Hell Yeah!. Been a fan since 2017 and I’m super proud of this band for staying strong after what they’ve gone through. This album is better than their previous work, though all of their stuff is amazing! This is such a great album!

I Don’t Know What Happened Here.... When I heard they were releasing a new album, I was very excited. When it finally came out, I was flabbergasted to what I was listening to. This album was a disaster. This was not the album I was hoping for. I’m okay with bands trying out new things, but they literally changed who they really are. There are only three good songs on this album that are metal, everything else was bad. Hopefully on their next album they learn from this, because drastic changes never end good.

Such an amazing album! These guys deserve more recognition.. I have been a fan of I Prevail since their cover of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space”. All I have to say is that this album is amazing. Songs like “Bow Down”, “Paranoid”, “Every Time You Leave”, “Rise Above It”, “Breaking Down”, “DOA”, “Gasoline”, “Hurricane”, “Let Me Be Sad”, “Deadweight”, and “I Don’t Belong Here” are such great songs with a meaning behind each song. If I had to pick my favorites above the ones that I listed, I would pick “Bow Down”, “Every Time You Leave”, “Breaking Down”, “Hurricane”, and “Let Me Be Sad”. You should give this album a chance. They are a great band. They deserve more recognition and success. Can’t wait for a third album. Also must see in concert too if you haven’t got a chance to see them yet. It is worth it. Same with meet and greets, they are down-to-earth group of great guys.

Couldn’t be better. You can really tell that the guys put their true selves into this album and played the music THEY wanted to play, and not what a studio pushed them to play. This album blew me away, and over a year and a half later I can still listen to it on repeat.
