Her Beat. Rhythm Nation is not only Janet’s best album IMO but it’s one of the best albums of all time. Not a single filler on the album. Fantastic from beginning to end!

One of the best albums of all time!. This album is the type of work all artists dream of having. From songs about social injustice and racism to love songs and fun dance songs—its all here!! The messages in this album are sadly still relevant today. This is the only album is HISTORY to have 7 Top 5 singles from it. And if it had been around for streaming rules and charting it would have garnered even more! This is pure pop perfection. It has a great mix of dance, pop, r&b, rock, and beautiful ballads. This is a must have for every fan of 80s/90s music lovers.

Pop masterpiece. After making such a bold statement on Control, Janet took it to another level with Rhythm Nation 1814. This album was massively successful and still holds the record for the most top 5 singles from an album. There were seven of them - and four were #1. There’s substance, grit, funk, rock& roll and some of the best ballads in Janet’s entire catalog. This album should be in your music collection. It’s truly a pop, R&B, dance masterpiece!

JANET'S I TUNES MUSIC. The album is 5 stars worthy period!! However thats not what I want to talk about. THERE IS NO REASON IN THE WORLD WHY ALL OF HER WORK IS NOT UPLOADED ON HER I TUNES PAGE. THERE ARE 11 VIDEOS MISSING FROM THE LINE-UP. WHY??? THIS IS THE PROBLEM I HAVE . JANET JACKSON IS ALLWAYS MISSED REPRESENTED!! WHO EVER HANDELS HER SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS NEED TO GET IT TOGOTHER. NOT TO MENTION SHE ONLY HAS 5.9M IG FOLLOWERS AND HER YOUTUBE PAGE ALSO DOESNT HAVE ALL HER VIDEOS. IM JUST SAY... THE WOMEN DESERVES MORE RESPECT..

Still In Complete Darkness. 30 years later and still dealing with the same issues. RN was and still ahead of its time. This album is non stop. I remember that they played this whole album in a German club. It was epic!

A Masterpiece and so ahead of her time. It’s between rhythm nation and velvet rope as her best album. Both are legendary and this definitely set her apart from everyone else. This album is incredible from start to finish.

Groundbreaking!!!. Ms. Jackson delivered on this masterpiece album. This album is groundbreaking! It not only speaks to the worlds issues that was plaguing our nations back in the late 80s and early 90s, but it also is very relevant to today’s society. She is so underrated as an artist and visionary. This album should be on everyone’s shelves.

30 Years, Still Supreme. This is one of the greatest albums of all time, in no small part due to the fact that in 30 years it has barely aged. The production and epic vocals sound nearly contemporary. But above even that, the message of Rhythm Nation is one we’re still hoping to achieve today. Congrats to Janet Jackson, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis for bringing this musical treasure to the world, 30 years ago this week!!
