Mixed Opinions. The deleted songs are all good, but a majority of them have overused autotune. There’s nothing wrong with using autotune for effect or whatever but in this scenario it just doesn’t really work. (I didn’t catch any use of autotune in In The Bedroom Down The Hall though. That is also my personal favorite of the deleted songs). Katy Perry’s Waving Through a Window was pretty unnecessary if you ask me, but it’s well done from a pop perspective. I don’t know. If you already have the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack I would buy TBDTH and have that be it, but that’s just me.

Amazing musical. I love this musical and it’s message, though Katy perry made “waving through a window” sound forced. But besides that, I love it and would recommend it to anyone who likes musicals and is okay with its subject matter.

LOVE THIS SHOW. And the cut songs are great too! I don’t love Katy Perry’s version of WTAW but I’ll get over it 😂

Amazing. The album is amazing. The bonus tracks are as beautiful as the soundtrack. Everything except the Katy Perry song. I erased that from my memory.

I love it!. It’s not what I expected as far as the album went but I still adore it. I think I’m the only one who hates the Katy Perry cover (I just really hate her voice and the auto tune in that song) so that’s why it gets four stars. The current cast did amazing though!

Love it, but disappointed at re-release. Really love Dear Evan Hansen, I went to see it and everything. Only reason I am giving this a 3 star is because as a Deluxe edition/ re-release, I expected more. I thought they were going to re-record all of the songs with the current cast, instead it’s the same as before with just a few new songs. Only disappointment here, everything else is absolutely fantastic!!!! 💖

Some of these songs are amazing. I've already bought the entire cast album, so I only bought a few bonus tracks from this one. I absolutely love "Holding in Your Hands," it's the perfect light-but-sad song for Zoe. Mallory Bechtel's vocals are beautiful. I also adore "Obvious" and it's especially nice to hear Taylor Trensch's voice. I find the Katy Perry cover a little useless -- I expected more uncut songs on this album, rather than a cover that an artist could produce on their own. It would have been nice to see "Goin' Viral" on this album. Overall, I find some of this album to be overkill and the rest to be geniunely good songs.

Very depressing :(. The music is good, but the score just made me in tears. Have no clue why this musical won awards, but it’s too depressing!

Amazing Job by P&P. I watched the live stream yesterday and was totally amazed at how the cut songs sound. They are just as good as the rest of the cast album. I especially love Hiding in Your hands and Obvious. Well done :)

Amazing. An awesome soundtrack and I’ve been listening for the past few days. But I’ve noticed that I’ve been missing one or two of the songs, specifically Hiding in Your Hands and Words Fail.

Katy’s Wave. Really LOVE how Katy Perry sounds covering “Waving Through A Window”. It actually reminds me of some of the songs off of her PRISM album! Such a beautiful voice.
