No offence. This sounds like those type of people that has a vintage taste.. these songs sound like: “2 Adults riding a tricycle in the rain on a sunny day eating ice-cream with a smoothie in the other hand and a dog attached to the tricycle running along” Trying to act all in “vintage love”.. Humanz Brang it!! I’m sorry, had WAAAY more flavour and character, rhythm and all to the dang album. It had way more taste! Humanz was the one and LOVED the collaborations! They made me feel nostalgia of the Gorillas that came on when I was young. Brought me back but felt more modern at the same time. I don’t know what this is.. Sounds like a flop. A vintage flop! Lol I hope the others are better because these seem pretty worrying!..!?!.

Amazing!. Got the album yesterday since I had pre-ordered it and oh my god. This album is amazing, way better then Humanz. I gives me some Plastic Beach and slight Demon Days vibes.

So far so good👍. As of now; Humility, Lake Zurich and Scorcererz have been released and they sound great. Idaho and Hollywood was played live and I have to say, they are AMAZING!!! I have a feeling this album is gonna be great

Much much much better than the last. I am so glad they decided to release this albums, it is far better than Humanz, as it has a lot more character and sounds more professional and slick. The summer vibes really are apparent, and I'm loving the 80's style.

Pure Gorillaz. I'm literally listening to the album as I'm typing this. It's very much got that chilled back vibe which Gorrliaz grip so well. Recommend to anyone as it varies so much which makes their music so diverse.

Love ever second of it. Watched the full live concert in Japan and fell in love, this has some of my favourite tracks ever on it, Tranz is particularly good.

Yes ❤️. Now THIS is Gorillaz. Experimental and always changing but still keeping this consistent ‘feel’. Have to praise Damon’s vocals for bringing it all back, after albums that felt more like collab compilations than official albums. 5/5 I love it

These toons have had their day.... I was just about getting over Plastic Beach, then Humanz comes along. While I am into fusions from Hip Hop / Jazz Funk / Rap. This album does not do it at all, I'm a big fan of collaborators Yussef Kamaal, Floating Points Ensemble. You know the genre that smashes it in London jazz clubs. This though does not, it doesn't matter what artists you try and associate with a failing concept, if it doesn't work walk away from it.

Noob lies. What a load of rubbish, the once brilliant Gorillaz have lost the proverbial plot, very dissappointed☹️☹️☹️

Long time fan rating 5*. As a fan of Gorillaz since 2001, this band have seen me through my early teens to my adult years and ...now now. ;) I love them to peices and this album just reminds me that they really are something special . Thank you Gorillaz . - Angie .

Weak. Such a weak album. There's less of the hiding-behind-collaborators than on previous albums, but the songs are so lame. Laidback, unfinished, boring.

The Now Now. I’ve heard it’s the best ever so I got it and they were right, now I’m downloading all their other songs. HAPPY.

Love it!. Pure genius as usual

Present.. Gorillaz have chosen to focus on a reduced volume of work for a strong overall package. Their 11-track album uses much simpler beats and trance-like rhythms to get the the desired effect. Opting to have little to no other artists feature as per their previous HUMANZ volume they’ve also shied away from current climate and political hot-topic issues for something much deeper and personal. It’s their most forward and honest and direct record yet but in no way as weak as the others. It feels very much like a summer-breeze during a drive down a road filled with a hedonistic lifestyle. It’s euphoric and dark at times and then hopefully brilliant and static in the other corners.
