Straight Garbage. Whoever Said 3DG Is Back They Lied There Last Two Albums Are Straight Garbage And Yes The Real 3DG Fans Would Like To Have Adam Back Because This New Singer Sounds Really Bad

Very good. I have been listening to them for years and this is bad but not the best.

Good album. Not their best but still a good effort with some really good songs.

Has some good singles. No Gontier doesn’t mean bad band, even if he was the better singer

Great Album. I have only recently become a fan of TDG after seeing them at a concert and I’ve been hooked since. The older stuff with Adam is great as well as the new stuff with Matt. I feel like the negative reviews are mainly Adam fans that don’t want to accept that he’s no longer in the band and they don’t want to give Matt the chance he deserves. This album is full of great songs and I really appreciate the sound, the beat and overall messages the band sends. They are worth their weight for sure!!

SHUT. THE. HECK. UP.. I’ll admit this is a pretty lame album. But I ain’t saying SHUT THE HECK UP to Three Days Grace. I’m talking to the whiners that keep complaining about Adam Goniter. Everything you love will disappear someday. And despite that 3DG’s fame disappeared in just a little more than a decade,it isn’t because Adam is gone. Sure, adapting to Mark’s voice and losing their lead vocalist was hard. But at least I ain’t complaining about it. Adam is gone,PERIOD. Whining and/or complaining about it won’t bring Adam back. NOTHING WILL. Though I will miss the old 3GD,we all gotta adapt to Adam Goniter’s choices. Though one of the best Rock albums ever went from Awesome To Lamesome,we all gotta adapt. Though we will all miss Adam,we all gotta adapt. Peace out guys...😔

Eh. Eh. Slightly better than Human, but still not great

I like it. I like some of the songs they made

Pretty good. I’m not a three days grace fan but this was good.

It has meaning, you just have to find it. People say three days grace is dead... I couldn’t agree LESS. Sure this album had some basic and simple lyrics, but saying a three year old could write them is very arrogant. A year after it’s release and the album has produced three #1 singles on billboard, and two of those songs: the mountain and infra-red, both hold a meaning that one can’t listen to once and not listen again. I’m sure it disappoints so many people, and even the band themselves when they see reviews left for their music that are based on one listen. And for people who have listened to the album and found no meaning in it, it may just be that you haven’t had the experience in life that makes you feel the lyrics deeper in your heart. The three chart toppers are only a few of the songs on this album that pull you into them and practically put words in your mouth... I myself have sympathized with “villain I’m not”, “love me or leave me”, and “I am an outsider”... while I enjoy the recognizable elements of Matt Walst’s my darkest days on the track “the new real” it’s just different. This is only one album that has received poor reviews for “lack of depth” but are we sure that it’s not a lack of in depth listening? So please join me, music lovers and rock enthusiasts, rock is not dead, let’s keep it that way... after all, these are “Strange Days” we live in, let’s not fall into “the Abyss”.

Rock is Not Dead!. I know many are just not that happy with Adam leaving the band, but if you’re honest, this is a great record. I think the new vocals are better on this second album, and I think this has a good feel. It’s not the heyday of days past- that is in the rear-view; but don’t be so quick to jump ship. This is a new band, new sound, new chapter...embrace it. It is really good. Great job guys, just know that some of us are still with you. It’s way better than other works out there, no naming names but come on, this is at least Rock!

My Favorite Album Ever. I’m getting The Mountain lyrics tattooed on me. Thanks Guys 🙏🏽 I love ever song. I wish more artists would go in this direction.

Just listen to Saint Asonia. This album was disappointing and terrible. Matt’s voice is annoying for me to listen to, he can’t sing anything like Adam, Adam makes anything he sings sound like a three days grace song, like apocalyptica’s “I don’t care” and all of Saint Asonia’s songs, in my opinion Adam was three days grace and wherever his voice goes that’s where three days grace goes.

Disappointing.. Matt wasn’t terrible for his first. He doesn’t sound like Adam, and that’s fine...my problem with this album is they’re trying to make Matt sound in between Adam, and Chester Bennington. I Liked Chester. May he RIP. But TDG had died as Chester and Linkin Park....

Oh boy. After Adams announcement that he was leaving Three days Grace back in 2013, I was stunned to say at the least. Wondering how the band will go on without him and if I’ll still be able to enjoy them. Well that definitely isn’t the case. Three Days Grace hired the old lead singer from My Darkest days, and boy was that a mistake. They sound so generic with lyrics so terrible that made you wonder if a child wrote the songs for them. While some could argue that even when Adam was around they were still generic, but he had a distinct voice that was so mesmerizing and satisfying you didn’t care and sang along with the songs. Now you can’t help yourself but laugh because of how drastic these songs are. I would recommend listen to Adam Gontiers band Saint Asonia and listen to their new song the Hunted. It sounds way better than anything Three Days Grace has put out over the last few years.

You guys gotta admit these guys pulled it back together. Some of you may not like the songs they are making but even though they lost Adam they pulled themselves back up and continued to write songs

Problem. Preordered the album but never got it

A great album in the rock world these days. Adam will always be the best singer in Three Days Grace but this is the next best thing. The other members have adjusted to Matts style and it’s a good listen.

Good album, like all the rest. All the negative reviews are just people who can’t over change and that Adam left. Grow up and if you don’t like, don’t listen to it then

Amazing Live. I find it amusing how so many reviews diss a new vocalist because the sound has changed. The band as it is now has incredible stage presence, and performed songs off this record flawlessly. My personal favorite is “Infra-red.” Say what you want about missing the old vocalist, this guy has some pipes.

Outsider. I just love it!!

Better than Human but I’m mixed with it. I really miss Adam Gontier and Three Days Grace’s older stuff. I don’t hate Matt Walst! I think he has a nice voice but him and the band has got to improve their lyrics and music production. Right Left Wrong (8/10): I thought this song was better than the other two singles and I loved how Three Days Grace made this the opening track of the album. However, the lyrics are a bit repetitive, like “run away” and “the time has come”. The second verse did made me feel something tho. The chorus, while it’s not really the best chorus I’ve seen from newer Three Days Grace, I think it’s still cool and I also like how Matt changed the range when he sang “wrong” in the second time he sang the chorus after the second verse from E4 to B4. I really like that and I gotta give props to him. But I think the bridge is the best part of the song because it goes deep and it got me singing it after I listened to it a few times and I also like how the drums crescendo and decrescendo during the quiet time of the bridge. The whole bridge is pretty great and the song is very solid overall. The Mountain (5/10): I honestly used to love this song a lot, but after giving it a few more listens...I ended up being underwhelmed on it. This song is just an anthem about never giving up and the lyrics are pretty repetitive, especially the chorus. The melody is kind of catchy tho, but still. I Am An Outsider (3/10): I feel like this song was written by a 12 year old. The lyrics are immature and unrelatable, and the production and the guitar work are pretty boring. I never got into this song from the start after I was done listening to it. There wasn’t anything interesting for me about this song. Everything about this song is just boring. Infra-Red (9/10): I’m usually not a fan of love songs because most of them I’ve heard where bland and mainly pop, but I actually find this song pretty interesting. The guitars work out pretty good and the lyrics are good too. Matt’s voice sound great in this song too. Nothing To Lose But You (7.5/10): I honestly didn’t really expect to like this because of the title and how slow the song is, but the singing actually had emotion in it and I can feel it. The lyrics were decent too. Me Against You (1/10): *sighs* This has got to be my least favorite song on the album. This song really makes me laugh and cringe to the core. The lyrics are pretty whiny and repetitive. The guitars are bland and the production is weird. And when Matt says “f*** that”, I honestly laughed pretty hard. This song makes me want to scream “shut up”, especially the f*** that part. I don’t even know what they were going for in this song. I can’t take this song seriously tho... Love Me Or Leave Me (2/10): This song does nothing for me and it’s honestly a little more boring than “I Am An Outsider”. The lyrics are repetitive and there’s like less guitars in this. I don’t like a lot of stuff on this song tbh. Strange Days (4.5/10): The verse does have a nice pace to it hit it isn’t all that great. The melodies are ok but the lyrics are purely bland, especially in the chorus. I also feel like the drums are a little too loud and it’s just seems like a pure filler song. Villain I’m Not (9.5/10): IMO, this is the best song on the album. The guitar riffs are catchy and easy to jam along to, the lyrics are strong, and I find it easy to sing along to. This song gives me a throwback to Three Days Grace’s first album and I kind of gives me “I Hate Everything About You” vibes. While the song isn’t really that special, I still find it relatable to me and I still find myself really enjoying this song despite its little flaws. Chasing the First Time (4/10): Honestly, I never really got into this song. I don’t find it a strong song in any way shape or form. I don’t really like the lyrics and how slow paced it is. It kind of reminds me of “Chalk Outline”. While I like Chalk Outline, I can’t get into “Chasing the First Time”. The New Real (8.5/10): Wow, this song took a long time to grow on me. At first I didn’t understand the lyrics and thought they were weird but I thought about the meaning of the song and TDG actually has a point because people in the world are just trying to be somebody they’re not which I can agree and understand. I also like the quiet intro and the opening lyrics. I always thought they were strong to start the song off and the first and second verse are strong too. The chorus, while it has its weird lyrics sometime, (like the gangster wannabe part) I think it’s understandable of people just trying to be somebody and I think it describes different people being good, bad, or neutral. Although, I can understand why people don’t like the song because it has some weird lyrics but I think it’s actually one of the best songs on the album and I also love how much attitude the song has and I love how upbeat and fast paced it is. So props to you TDG for making this song grow on me a lot for a long time. The Abyss (8.5/10): Wow...a good opening and a good closer to the mixed album? That’s a surprise! I found the lyrics strong even though it has a negative message about giving up and going into the abyss. Also, where did that scream came from?! That really shocked me! I wish there were more screams on this song, but this song is still a good way to close the album. So, the opening track, Infra-Red, Villain I’m Not, and the last songs are my favorites from the album. The rest of the songs were completely filler ones tbh. Overall, this album is just ok and better than Human but not way better. I’m still a fan of Three Days Grace, but I prefer listening to their older stuff.

Meaningless. I’ve loved TDG for a long time and don’t get me wrong, this album sounds good and in terms of sound, it sounds like TDG with a slight change due to the new singer. What makes this album bad is that it’s meaningless. TDG’s first three albums you can hear full emotion like music is apart of their soul and their experiences. This music sounds like... it’s a hobby. Example: Right Left Wrong. Good song, but come on, the singer sounds like he’s singing to sing and the lyrics convey nothing.

Hot Garbage. Generic sound, generic lyrics. Crazy how I just don’t like anything new with the exception of a few songs, yet I can listen to any of the first 4 albums from beginning to end.

Terrible Songwriting. But this is coming from a guy who needed help writing a song called Porn Star Dancing.

Beautiful in its simplicity. Go listen to Saint Asonia, Matt haters! These songs although lacking lyrical complexity, all have extremely recognizable instrumentals and the vocals are equally diverse between songs

I love it. Great 👌🏻

Album. Love their songs

Haters 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼. The two albums with Matt are fantastic, plain and simple! I loved Adam but he needed to go - now I have two bands to listen to and frankly 3DG is way better than SA - it’s not close ! 💀💀 these haters leaving nasty reviews need to get a life - these dudes have more talent in there fingertips than you haters!!!

Love it!. I really like this album! I absolutely love infra-red!

Good but they just aren’t the same. Just saw them live . They sounded awesome , but they were better with Adam.

It’s not bad!?. The album is not that bad. The vocals are good. But I wish I could hear the guitar more

Adam was awesome but why the hate. Adam was awesome, but we need to face the reality, he’s gone, and honestly this album us great. It does lack that Adam wonder, but it is still a good album. Stop the hate!

I’m impressed.... well done guys!. I have to give these guys credit. It’s not easy adjusting to another singer, and I truly enjoy listening to the new album all the time. I do agree that the lyrics aren’t that complex, but do they really need to be..... Not really! The first time I heard the mountain and infra-red in concert two months ago I was seriously blown away. I enjoyed, felt the inspiration, and understood the message behind those songs right off the bat. You do you guys, and keep making great music for fans like me!

Beg for Adam to come back. Your music without Adam sounds forced and boring. I don't want to listen to karaoke... I change the radio station unless it's a song from one of the old albums. Saint Asonia with Adam sounds more like the original 3DG...

Ringtone!!!. Need this as a ringtone apple!!!

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. Every time these guys play it’s like they’re talking to me and they know everything I’ve ever felt, also they are doing a really great job with Matt I can’t wait to see what else they have

Yeah!. This is a solid album

Love it!!!. Absolutely stunning love all the songs specially right left wrong.

Really uplifting. It is just really a simple song, but it ... kind of like brings you up shows that you can do any thing and when you fall down you get back up again Over all it is a really good song to listen to if you are in a bad situation but again we all have different song favorite but I think this is a good song

Dead. The band lost all its punch a while back. I’m done listening to this.

EVERYDAY IM JUST SURVIVING KEEP CLIMBINg THE MOUNTAIN. I love the mountain

Different and good. I like this album because they experimented with music that’s kinda out of their comfort zone, and I think they did good.

Unpopular opinion. I prefer the new singer. Digging the new sound.

It’s ok, not bad but ok.. I will admit that The Mountain isn’t a great song, but you could say they tried. Honestly I think they did the best they could’ve done. So while it’s not their best record, it’s not their worst either, same with human

A couple really good Songs on here!. I love this new Album. Matt is doing good so far as the new frontman!

Love the album. I think this is a great cohesive album! Love Matt’s voice!

Great New sound. I’ve only listened to 3 days grace on the radio, liked many of their tunes. I heard right left wrong and can’t stop jamming to it. Didn’t even know it was 3 days grace. Strange days is an awesome track too. Their new sound was a good business move (more mainstream). Love the new singer! Keep jammin!

Quit being butt hurt. A lot of people are just on here crying that Adam left. Get over it and move on the band and Matt’s voice work well and they continue to make good music. Find more bands and quit littering the comments with how hurt you are that a band is able to survive and adapt.

Love it. To the haters out there I wanna see you try to start a band and make something good and see if people like it bc they probably will hate it, they work hard at there stuff so just stop hating that Adam is gone and deal with it
