Not their best - Ratings of individual tracks included in review. Based completely on my opinion, I feel this album is not their best and I was expecting more. Below is my rating system from 1-5. I've also included how I rank the tracks from their previous albums Group Therapy and We are All We Need so you can use that as a comparison. By all means its a decent album, but nothing wow'd me about it and for the most part after the novelty wears off it will remain more or less unplayed in my library.

Another great albumn. At first, I was skeptical after reading reviews online. I ended up buying it based on my appreciation for their past albums and I'm glad I did. The sample snippets don't do the albums justice.

Somewhat disappointed. This is not even compare to We are all we need or group therapy. The feeling is not just there. Is sound really commercial and a&b were somewhat kind of commercial but this is already too much.

Meh.. Haven't had a decent album since Group Therapy. (not counting the acoustic albums) Take me back to Oceanlab, Tri-State and any decent stuff you guys produced up until about 2012. 'We Are All We Need' was terrible and this is pretty much more of the same.

Is it love ?. Yes it is. Love it !

A new era with a touch of the golden age.. Pure magic. You don't usually come across an album where literally every song is your favorite, and making a top 3-5 list just doesn't cut it. Given that I've listened to the pre-released singles many times before, it was refreshing to finally hear the rest of the album. That being said, I've decided to tier this album into three different categories: the "New": "Naked", "Is It Love (1001)", "Sahara Love", and "Happiness Amplified" as the creme of the crop for this album. Then come the "Hits": "Northern Soul", "Alright Now", "My Own Hymn"; these are already instant classics amongst the Anjunafamily. That leaves us with the rest, "The Inconsistency Principle" and "Common Ground" as intros and outros that could potentially be played at my funeral eons from now... "Bittersweet & Blue", "Always", "Tightrope", and "Cold Feet" are all great tracks as well, they just don't have as much importance to the album as the others I've laid out. That doesn't make them bad tracks, it's just from my own personal experience from listening this album almost a dozen times now in the last 24 hours. Unhealthy? Nah. Purely uplifting to my soul? You betcha.

Beautiful tunes indeed!!!. My first purchase of a whole album on iTunes. Worth every cent!

So Above and Way Beyond. I’m 54 , this reminds me of the dance music I grew up with. Melodic , transcendental and forceful. A&B is as good as they get. Now get your behinds to Austin City limits this year or Mala Luna in San Antonio.

Lose the male singers. What is it with A&B and it’s coterie of cheesy sounding male singers.

A&B has gotten worse since Tri-State. Much less energy. Less atmosphere. I love euphoric harmonies. Pumping beats too. Atmosphere is good for trance. Above & Beyond is lower quality than Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Talla 2XLC, or Sean Tyas. Those are quality music. Please do some super-pumping beats, atmosphere, and euphoric harmonies. I don't care too much for hypnosis, though.

New Tasty Treats. I saw them live in Minneapolis a couple of years ago when We Are All We Need was the newest release... wish I could have gone to #ABGT250 at the Gorge, the streams were super! Found out I like the deeper mix... who knew? Glad to drop some hard earned benjamins for this newest album. Much love from Minnesota!!

All the love!. I absolutely love these guys, they always make such great music. No other music illicits feelings the way they do. Saw them live and still remains my favorite concert ever. Just remember life is made of small moments like this.

Positivity In Hard Times. Common Ground is nothing if not pure innocence and heart. The entire sound is peaceful and soul searching. Never missing the chance to spread positivity. I consistently enjoyed the entire album as a whole. At times the lyrics can come off as “cheesy” but they always felt genuine and heartfelt. A nice change of pace in such difficult and hard times. It’s definitely a breath of fresh air. If I have one complaint it would be the fact that the entire album blends a little too well. I never felt a connection with one particular song but more with the entire work as a whole. That’s not really a bad thing but I couldn’t just stick one track into a playlist.
