Do Not Open. There’s a reason these two dudes called their album do not open. Listen to them and for the love of god DO NOT OPEN these songs. Yes, this album has catchy dance beats, sure it has some slower songs now to make some balance, but they're all the same. The only diversity in this album comes from its guest appearances, and I feel really bad for them if they had to resort to recording with The Chainsmokers. These two wannabes have no creativity, they have no diversity, and on top of that, they have no singing voices. All their melodies span the same five or six notes, and it's just really sad to watch people get drawn into their redundant formula for "music" because even though it's not horrible by definition (it's not just a bunch of noise), but it's not music. Music has heart and soul and expression and actual work put into it, but all these dudes have is a keyboard, a fixed set of chords, and meaningless fame they use as an excuse to call themselves artists,

BEST ALBUM I HAVE EVER AND WILL EVER LISTEN TO. Great singers great lyrics great music. Been listening to it on repeat for 2 years now and still not one bit sick of it. Im a type of guy that started to listen to Chainsmokers after they released Closer so if you like their style since then, you will love this. For people that doesn’t their change. Utter Trash. Songs literally sound the same. Like I want to like it, I really do but having a listen to all the songs I realised they all have the same drop, same structure of lyrical writing and theming. I believe you guys just went on a random noun generator and used whatever word popped up to make such a bland song with the same structure as all your other songs. You guys are the reason electronic music is starting to become generic and boring.

Awesome Debut Album From Chainsmokers. A lot of good songs in this album including Young, My Type & Honest. although some songs lack over half of them surprise us with the best from Chainsmokers.

I. FREAKIN. LOVE THIS!!!!!!. Every single song makes me feel like they wrote it about &/or for me! Very commercial - I'd love another verse or two in most of the tracks....but hey, that's mainstream/radio for ya! If you wanna be famous - sure, you can write meaningful songs - they just have to be a little repetitive with the chorus so it's "catchy" & people get it stuck in their heads. The more they hear it the more they like it - generating sales. Whereas TRUE fans (of ANY type of music), understand and *get* the songs and connect with them in their own ways, almost immediately (unlike the general public & radio audiences who need to hear a song 500 times before they like it - because upon first hearing ANY song, they "hate it") 🙄 seriously can't stand those people. Nor can I stand those who've just skipped through each track on the album rather quickly and not actually given any of the tracks a chance to be heard in their intended way... yet these people still feel entitled to label it "the repetitive, same old same old" Ffs. In my opinion these people are NOT authorised to review any album that they listen to (sorry, by "listen to" j mean FLICK THROUGH) and to be honest I don't get why they even bother doing so if they don't care and don't like it?? For the record - I AM NOT a diehard Chainsmokers fan, I'd only known Paris & one other one. To my complete surprise though, upon listen to them all (ENTIRELY, while at the same time reading the lyrics to what I was hearing)...well, I just LOVED this album! YAY!! 😊 The Chainsmokers have moved up on the ladder of my very small list of pop music artists that I like. Nice work! Also, excuse my rant back there..it just really fires me up when people comment on things in which they don't have enough information to do so!

Pretty decent. People saying the songs all sound exactly the same have obviously just skipped through them in a couple minutes and not properly listened. All the tracks are quite good but are all very commercial. Not a bad thing but would liked to have seen one or two songs where they really mixed things up and showed us something we haven’t heard before.

Theyre Back Again..... I thought they were over and forgotten after the terrible, annoying 'Selfie' in 2013, but clearly I was wrong. Literally all their latest songs all sound the same and lack originality very badly. Sounds like all the generic garbage on the top charts at the moment. What happened to real music? The Chainsmokers will clearly never be iconic or will stand out in the music industry, once one song after another is done, their existance is forgotten entirely until the next one. And they have the nerve to trash other artists and their songs who actually have talent! I have no respect for this "pop" duo or their music. Keep it.
