This album was 'hard 2 love!'. Other than Tell Me, this album was nothing special and other than a few other filler songs, it was actually terrible. No limit is one of his worst songs he's ever made, bump just repeats the same word over and over and sounds like a b-side to another song The-Dream produced, I think this album shows why Usher hasn't put out another one since. People say he got too pop for a while, and he maybe did, but I'd rather listen to pop Usher over any of this trap nonsense. I'd rather listen to DJ Got Us Falling in Love over any of this wannabe hip hop urban trap trash that doesn't even touch any charts besides the hip-hop/r&b chart which doesn't count anymore anyway. Tell Me was great though but that's all that was great.

This isn't Usher. This sounds like a guy who can't sing so he puts a lot of "work" into producing "beats". Usher has such a great voice, I don't understand why he doesn't let that be his biggest instrument like it used to be.

Getting back to his ways. I will admit it is way better than his last album personally, but his is definietly getting back at his craft and putting aside just trying to fit in. I still hear Usher in his music and in his words. It will never be perfect like confessions and I will never hold a standard like him to overcome, but he is getting back to it and it will take more than just this album alone to do it. Love you man keep up the good work. Side note: the Videos I love!!!!!! No Limit (Get it!!!)

This was good better than the last. Im so glad he went back to his roots of r n b for the most part. I understand the need to have cross over songs to expand your fan base and talent but he got to "popish" for a moment. This album restored my faith in him as an r n b artist. Cant wait to see him tour this album. He gives great shows

Highly Underrated Album. It's actually a well rounded album with great uptempo songs. It's definitely different than what is out on the radio, WHICH is a GREAT thing. FWM, Downtime, No Limit and Rivals are very solid hits. Honestly I only disliked Missin U and Champions.

Excellent album. Most of the songs on this album are fireee (especially Rivals) with just sick beat drops. The problem with usher is that he just doesn't market himself or announce these announcements like I see other artists doing. In any case, SICK album once again.

Is not "confessions" but "tell me" is the best track. The album is not the best one yet, but the song "tell me" is the best song in this album in my opinion. A&R needs to stop trying to crossover R&B artists to pop, cuz it has not worked for many RnB artists. Stop finding the next MJ.

Empty. It almost feels like usher hasn't had any significant inspiration in his current life. Not like confessions, every song felt meaningful meant some thing. Maybe next time usher, but still sounds good and don't try to sound like the new rnb they are their own thing, usher is more mature.

Growth 🎧. Not only does Usher give us fresh music but he's giving growth in both his vocal ability and musicality. You can hear how much he's want to take his listeners to on a journey with each track. My favorite is by far is "Tell Me." You can't even tell it's 8 min. long. It's definitely on heavy rotation!

Not as good anymore. After the bitter and very public breakup with Tameka, taking her children, and just being so heartless throughout the process, I fell out of love with Usher. His music hasn't been as good, perhaps it's karma. #AtlHasSpoken

Give it 5 listens. The album is different from Usher's earlier catalog, so it took me 4 listens to really fall in love with this album. That is a signal that an artist is evolving and delivering value. Be careful -- after a few listens you'll find yourself craving these songs. Excellent production quality.

A legend of his time. This album has been a long time coming and showcases ushers flawless talent as an R'n'b legend as well as capturing the latest trap wave from ATL and the south. He stills hits amazing notes in flacetto and does this flawlessly on 'Tell me' and stand out songs are 'Let me' / 'Downtime' / 'Rivals'. This is one of the first albums i've listened to back to back on repeat and not got bored. A well thought out and quietly confident album.

And We are Back!. I have always been an Usher fan with all his albums but left Usher after his last album. I nearly didn't want to even sample this, but then I did and I'm back, cos Usher is!! Accoustic harmonies are on point, and the rich lyrics and RnB flavour which I love, are all beautiful in "Stronger". So uplifting too! 'Crash" is more digital and my 11year old loves it! His mature yet fun loving sexy self oozes through...Only wish there was a clean version of this album I could play out loud with my kid in the car!! Love this! Well done Usher :-)

8701 and Confessions is a million times better. I feel conned cos after 8701 and confessions and maybe here I stand its gradually going down hill. This album is garbage, buy Justin Biebers instead who's happened to be produced by usher lol

Mixed views. I absolutely love Usher's last album Looking 4 Myself so this had a lot to live up to. Can't fault his vocals & there are some real gems on here (Crash,Hard ii Love,Champions) but I'm not keen on some of the others. Gonna take a few more listens.

Okish. Not the best again, his Raymond v Raymond and confessions album were his best, I miss the old (younger) usher back in 2004 till 2010. I wish he'd do an album similar to those next time.

Ok. Young Cats on here thinking they know his music but clearly don't know his 8701 album. This was his best work with big hits that made the charts and clubs. The new generation have sounds that don't nearly compare to the great sounds of the early 2000 and late 90s. People bring this up a lot but it's the truth! Period!!

Good album!. Very pleased with this album but surprosed that She Came To Give it To You or Good KIsser wasnt on this album but oh well. He is still a strong singer and this is a strong album. Even though I think that RVR&Confessions were his best albums, we all need to accdept that many artists arent going to back to how they were before, it's called exploration. If Usher made anothe ralbum like Confessions, people would complain that he needs to make more recent stuff, he cant please everybody. If you like confessions, listen to confessions, saying you wish his album was like this or that isnt going to change anything.
