First Maiden/Metal album ever heard.. This is the albumn that did it for me. Metal forever! Not their best but enough to leave an impression on a 13 year old in 1984.

Best Iron Maiden Album EVER. Number of the Beast and Powerslave are awesome too, but this album is very underrated. Die With Your Boots On is a killer tune, Where Eagles Dare rocked hard, Flight of Icarus is a classic, Revelations was a good mix of rock and slow, and, of course, THE TROOPER!! IRON MAIDEN’S BEST SONG EVER

Up the irons.. What can you say about the greatest band ever. Best singer best bass player best drummer and best guitarists. Been my favorite band after this epic masterpiece. Revelations has always been one of my favorite songs

Unbelievable. The classic lineup solidified on this excellent collection of tunes. Probably the best introduction album to Iron Maiden. It’s got it all.

Fantastic Album. The Trooper was one of the first songs downloaded on my phone when I got into buying my own music. Originally as a suggestion from my father, I began running a few years ago, and this song helped me along the way and opened my eyes to other quick songs such as Back in the Village and Deja Vu(from Powerslave and Somewhere In Time, not this particular album). After a half years worth of running I dug deeper into full albums and came across Piece of Mind. An instant classic for Maiden, and a really good album for studying. Up the Irons!

Great album. One of my favorites

Masterpiece of Mind. For some reason, the remastered version caused the old reviews to be deleted. So here's my review. The first five songs are absolute gold. Where Eagles Dare and The Trooper are two of my favorite Maiden tracks of all time. However, the album is way too frontloaded, and the last four tracks are mediocre. Still Life isn't bad, but Quest for Fire and Sun and Steel both have lame hooks by Iron Maiden standards. To Tame A Land is pretty good but doesn't measure up to Hallowed Be Thy Name, Powerslave, or Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Overall, this is my third favorite album behind Number of the Beast and Powerslave. The 2015 remastered version is definitely a lot better than the old version, and that goes for all the albums.

Masterpiece. Maybe one of the best metal albums ever recorded! Revelations, Where Eagles Dare, The Trooper and Flight of Icarus are usually included in every concert set list. The rest of the songs are great by most metal standards.

Great album. These remastered versions are great I recently bought all of the remastered albums on here & I am not disappointed with any they all sound phenomenal. This is one of my favorite maiden albums with tracks like the trooper & Where Eagles Dare this is a great album the whole way each track is great.
