The Sound Of Silence + Disturbed = GOOSEBUMPS!!!!. Disturbed has by far outdone themselves this time... The Sound Of Silence is just AMAZING!!! I saw it being downloaded because I didn't see the full album before it was made available and I thought they titled a song called Sound of Silence??? Do they not realise it's already a famous song? Wait is it a cover? Omg it's a cover... And let me tell you, as an avid Simon & Garfunkel fan I think that this is far better than the original... Just the vocals and the tempo give this song a whole new depth and it is just fantastic! 10 out of 10 for sure!

Sound of Silence. This rendition speaks to the people whom are mastered! Some of you out there should listen more to the words and txt LESS.

Other bands could benefit from a hiatus. I'd rather wait years between albums and have them be consistently enjoyable. Some bands can't help but churn out albums as fast as they can and the filler is so disappointing. Waaaay looking forward to 21-8-15

Another fantastic album. From the rocking The Vengeful One (one of my new favourite songs to run to at 4am) to the haunting melody of The Sound of Silence (a darker toned version of the Simon & Garfunkel classic) this album is full of great songs that fans will love and much welcomed return from hiatus.

One of the best. I don't like this album. I love it. I listen to it more than any other I've ever owned. So much talent in one band. The drummer is beyond incredible and David Draiman has an amazing voice.

Been waiting a while. We've been waiting a while, but the wait was worth it! Easily their best work since "The sickness" in my opinion, maybe even their best to date. Really enjoyable!!

The Sound of Silence. This song was written and waiting to be sung by Disturbed. It is mesmerising! Love it!

Totally Different Direction. Certainly not what I was expecting and totally different from Asylum. Songs that have got me excited are - The Light, You're Mine, Sound of Silence, Legion of Monsters, The Vengeful One. I must admit they have throw a spanner into the engine but loving it so far. The more you listen the more you like it.

Terrible.. What even is this? The music is terrible and they do not deserve to have a song at number one. Disturbed? Yeah, disturbing music.

Sound of silence.... Usually I hate cover versions of songs but this was... Wow. Managing to take a 50 year old classic and breathe it new life and to a new generation. 10/10 to disturbed and especially to draiman on the best vocals of the 21st century

Dissapointed. This is just as dissapointing as Bullet For My Valentine's new album, don't get me wrong, I love Disturbed, but they are past it. This album proves it. Two of Metal's biggest bands have released two very dissapointing efforts. I guess it's up to BMTH and PWD to save the genre this year.

Alright........ Would have been good, but it's too inconsistent. One moment the singer is whispering, the next he's shouting his head off. Nevertheless, it's a pretty good song, should be a little higher

Sound of Silence (original). The original one from The Graduate is a lot better, it's weird listening to this now.

The Sound of Silence. I have never written a review before but after having heard this song, I just had to say something. I LOVE this version of the Sound of Silence (I also loved the original). It is so moving that it reaches into my chest and clenches my heart. I become so emotional when I hear it due to the depth and passion coming from the singer, David, and the band. WOW!!!

Sounds of silence. Omg I'm obsessed with this mesmerising version of an awesome song. His voice takes my breath away. The video....perfect, a strong message that gives me strength and goosebumps every time I watch it. Keep making this kind of music and the sky's the limit for ⚡️Disturbed⚡️💋

Excellent!. I just downloaded and listened to the album and absolutely loved it. One some of the songs they strayed form what they usually do and it mostly turned out well (The Sound of Silence), but was not a fan of Fire it Up. This being said I like that they are attempting new things and sounds, most people complain about change, but I believe Disturbed are mostly headed in the right direction

Confused. Bit surprised to say the least when sound of silence came on, thought I was listening to metal? Rest of the album is good, maybe not on par with Asylum but worth the purchase.

The Guy has awakened. It has been 5 long years but Draiman and co are finally back. The album kicks off with it's lead single: The Vengeful One, a great riff-heavy track announcing their return. Can't wait for the album!

AWESOME!. Since I left my rock I was living under and heard the indulging sound of Disturbed, I went crazy on them! However when I found out they decided to go 'Indefinite hiatus' I felt very sad, then I hear about them making a new album... AND THEY'RE BACK! Just as good, if not better than before, I almost cried from every possible location and cannot wait for this beautiful album to come out! :) Disturbed 'til the end!

Disturbed are back with a bang!!. This is an excellent new album from Disturbed, it hits massive highs and has some exceptional new tracks showing exactly what the band are capable of. I challenge anyone not to be in awe of Draiman’s vocals, especially on ‘The Sound of Silence’, you get to hear exactly what he can do. If you’re a fan of Disturbed, get this album now; if you’re new to Disturbed, get this album now, then go to the start and get 'The Sickness’.

Sound of Silence. Not a fan of Disturbed but Draiman's voice is sooo wicked it shows in the Sound of Silence which I've just bought (better than the original) he could do so much more given the right material.

The return. It's been a long time but now the hiatus if finally over! The vengeful one is an excellent song delivering that distinct disturbed sound, the sound of silence is that emotional and powerful and honestly, there isn't a single filler track on here! Buy it brothers!

THEY ARE BACK!. The new song The Vengeful one is brilliant. It is catchy and has the traditional Disturbed sound with a new modern flair and personally i love it! Cannot wait for the album to be released! To anyone who loves disturbed i have no worries, you will not be disapointed!

Interesting. Not really listened much to this band( my kids listen to em mostly). But heard the cover of Sound of Silence. As a Simon & Garfunkle fan I must say its a damn good cover, I really didn't think I'd like it but there you go for judging the proverbial cover, and the rest of the tracks are pretty good to. Well worth the download. 5 stars.

The immortals return in top form!. Yh I cannot wait for this one. Been a fan of them since the beginning! They haven't changed there style which is why we can expect another class album.

What a great album. Top tracks for me are, the sound of silence, the light, open your eyes, the vengeful one, what are you waiting for and who. All in that order of preference. Buy it, if you like Disturbed you won't be disappointed.
