Botti in Boston. One of my favorite albums hands down. Simply beautiful. Every track. I can't say enough, except I wish I could have seen the concert live.

A Miles Davis Wannabe. It's one thing to idolize a legend and pay tribute, but let's face it. Chris is no Miles Davis on the muted trumpet.......at all. Any novus who really follow jazz music to it's purest form will even suggest that Chris Botti has absolutely no originality in his playing none whatsoever. And this live performance is also a true testiment to his lack of swinging grooves and improvisations. A sad & heart wrenching performance on this recording. Lucky I didn't buy this and every serious jazz lover should avoid........... by any mean necessary. AWFUL!

Botti in Boston. My wife is not really into jazz-when she heard Halleluljah she got hooked. We didn't get to see the pbs special, but watch some of it on you tube. Chris is just great and calms me on my drive home.

Botti in Boston. I haven't heard Chris Botti in several years but as it turns out he is better than ever. The variety of musicians and singers that perform with him on this album is great and the wide range of compositions is most entertaining.

Simply the best!. I have loved Chris Botti's music for several years now, and have all of his CD's. Saw him when he came to Seattle last year, we sat right next to the stage, it was magic. My favorite CD has be Italia, but I think I have just found a new favorite. This CD is magical in every way. I listen to it in my car, I have it playing on my computer, or I have it playing in my living room, I never tire listening to it. Do your self a huge favor, if you have never heard him before, buy this CD and you will be a fan for life.

The Latest Tour?. Is this from his latest tour? We saw him in Phoenix recently and were expecting his smooth jazz sound. Instead he allowed his drummer and guitar player to take over the show all to frequently. It became a noisy, loud fusion jazz (and I like Mahavishnu Orchestra and the like) thing that was so disappointing to us. My wife was heart broken. This CD is what we had hoped the show would have been like. It is excellent.

Tool Fan/Botti Fan. All i gotta say is Lucia Micarelli and Katherine Mcphee should get it on :),But seriously Completly amazing Performances by All, Lucia Is so damn sexy when playing Barefoot too

WOW!WOW!WOW!. This has to be Chris Botti's best work. I can't get enough of this disc. The arrangements are masterful and depict the feeling and emotion of each piece of music perfectly. I don't know how he got such a diverse group of artists to participate. Every song is great! Perfect mood music for a quiet dinner or romantic evening. AJR

Shape of my Heart????. Where is Shape Of My Heart with Sting and Josh Groban..... I hope it is released soon.... it is a stirring rendition.....Love this cd....

Great Album. A little bit sad that shape of my heart wasn't there but, glad to be unhappy with John Mayer is absolute gold. You can't go wrong with any of these songs!

A Musical Boston Tea Party!. A variety of guests from different music genres make this a party not to be missed! With Keith Lockheart and the Boston Pops Orchestra providing the backdrop, Botti remains the focus while showcasing the extraordinary talent that joins him on-stage! John Mayer's stirring rendition of "Glad To Be Unhappy", Botti and Band on jazz infused "Flamenco Sketches" and Yo Yo Ma on soul stirring "Cinema Paradiso", and Lucia Micarelli on "Emmanuel" are especially haunting! Sting, as usual, is the perfect vocal matchup for Chris on trumpet and "Smile" with Steven Tyler is one of the best versions of that song I've heard. And Josh Groban on "Broken Vow" moved me to tears! A lovely Boston tea party--brewed to absolute perfection!

Chris Botti In Boston. I first saw Chris Botti on PBS, I watched the special twice and was smitten by his talent and that of his band. I knew I had to have some of his music, it is so soothing and relaxing. After a hard long day at work I really need that. It starts as soon as I get into the car for the long drive home and by the time I reach the house I am in a much better mood.

Chris Botti in Boston. I first had the pleasure of hearing Chris at the Coach House in Orange County. Loved his sound then and am more impressed now. Trumpet players are unique these days. Chris has shown that his sound mixes with the music of a variety of singers from opera to pop. Congratulations to Chris and thanks for all the lovely listening. ~Julie

Steven Tyler. The Boston Concert was very impressive, one complaint, Steven Tyler's entrance to Cryin' isn't on the CD which is very disappointing. That was probably the most unexpected performance of the evening, just sick.

Great for all audiences!. Even if I wasn't a Chris Botti fan, I would still enjoy this CD. A great buy for simply anyone who loves music! Plus it's not a bad choice to play during dinner with your loved one.

A harmonic and well put together album. I only heard of Chris Botti a few weeks ago and purchased this album it's really an amazing album. I especially enjoyed the collaboration with him and John Mayer on "Glad To Be Unhappy". I would recommend this album.

Moving!. Simply moving to the soul. I had a chance to watch the PBS special after I downloaded this album and it only made the experience better how good Chris is and how well he works with other artist. Bravo!

Not all songs on disc..... I also watched this PBS special and this disc does not cover all of the songs he performed in Boston. They did a beautiful version of Sting's "Shape of my Heart" ,which of course then one I realy wanted, and naturally it wasn't on this disc. Disc is still very solid.......great mix of music and very well played.

Why No Shape???. Why why why doesn't the album have Shape of My Heart with Sting and Josh Groban. I've been waiting (impatiently) for the release just for this beautiful song! I do like the rest of it, but would have LOVED to have this song on it.

MAGICAL!!!. HE has so much soul! He paints a picture for you, in every song. I love Emmanuel.

A Musical Memory To Last A Lifetime. While nothing can compare with the thrill of being in Boston's Symphony Hall the nights this was recorded, the CD is the next best thing. The sold out crowd was treated to hometown musicians Steven Tyler and Yo-Yo Ma. Steven brought down the house, microphone scarves flying, to Cryin' and Yo-Yo had the audience in tears with Cinema Paradiso. Seeing John Mayer in a tuxedo singing a Sinatra tune was amazing, as was the quartet of Yo-Yo, Dominic Miller, Sting (on the lute) and Chris performing Fragile. The only thing missing here is Sy Smith's incredible rendition of The Look Of Love. She was an audience favorite and it was a crime not to include her.

FINALLY! A NEW CD FROM CHRIS BOTTI!!!!!!. This album is AMAZING as usual for Mr. Botti. He always has unique pairings and this release is no different. "Broken Vow" with Josh Groban is ethereal,"Glad To Be Unhappy" is my favorite and I like the fresh take of Sting's "Seven Days". If you've never heard Chris Botti before, this album will hook you!

A True Diamond In The Rough. This new album is absolutely beautiful. There are such unusual combinations of instrumentation and vocals and Chris Botti's extraordinary talent shines through. I had no idea who Chris Botti was until I saw this concert on public television. I was instantly hooked! This album is one for the ages and you will absolutely love it!

Chris Botti in Park City Utah. Just saw Chris Botti live in Park City Utah last weekend and the entire show was unreal. Chris thanks for coming to Utah and please do come again. Your music makes life easier during such difficult times. This is my favorite Botti cd and I cannot stop listening to it.

I WAS THERE!. I was at this concert... it was the most amazing concert I have ever been to!! Sting and Chris Botti and John Mayer. Then they had Yo Yo Ma, Sting, Dominic, and Chris play and sing "Fragile", but it's not on the CD because it was an addition to the concert when someone in the audience fainted and had to be ambulenced out, in the middle of John Mayer's song. I'm pretty sure I cried during the concert. And it was really interesting to see Steve Tyler up there... he said to the audience "My parents are sitting in the front row!"

Amazing!!!!. I love this CD. It is full of such great sound and talent, not only talented featured artists, but a big shout out to the orchestra. I also gave it as a gift to a fellow music lover. A big hit with him...in Brazil :)

The missing ingredients. This is classic, but where are the songs featuring Sy Smith and Lucia Micarelli? They were both spectactular that night.

Great concert. I first saw this on PBS and was completely blown away. Aside from taste and the definitions of "jazz," which people will debate about incessantly, this is fine music and the concert is amazing. Botti is incredibly skilled at what he does.

Great Trumpet Player!!!. I had the honor of seeing in concert then I got this album signed by him, then got a photo with him for free. What a nice man. And I'm 16.

Another great CD from Botti and friends. But it. You won't be disappointed.

Chris and the band are kickin'. The version of "When I Fall in love" might possibly been one of the grooviest songs I have ever heard. That break beat groove that drummer Billy Kilson lays down is too tasty. Great album. I use to think that Chris was cheesy, but then I went to one of his shows and he definitely proved me wrong. They groove so hard and his tone is so pure! Also a huge fan of the version of Sting's tune "Seven Days."

Cris Botti in Boston. Absolutely wonderful CD, sooo much talent all under one roof. Great mix of music, however the most beautiful version of "Shape of My Heart" that I have ever heard is not included on the music portion of this CD...very disappointing.

Amazing. I have bought many, many, many jazz albums from I-tunes. This is by far a magical combination of ambience, soul, artists and spirituality. I cannot help but listen to this album daily. Enjoy!
