The Best from the Best. I created an album of all of my favorite Bjork Songs years ago. This album has all of my favorites and then a few other great tracks I also love. A+++ for this one.

love bjork. ahead of this time

So Bad. I bought this album and hated it. Deleted it off my iTunes. I love Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Police, Chick Corea many more. Sophisticated lyrics and music attracted me to Bjork. I couldn't listen to Bjork. I tried but its not for me.

Really? Music? I think not.. I can't see how people can like this...I mean it's interesting and creative but how about a song where you can sing along to with out sounding like your choking...don't get me wrong here, this is a beatiful album with very interesting sounds but I guess I prefer songs you can really just bust a move to and start singing at the top of your lungs. I mean take "Hunter" for example : I'm going hunting...I'm a hunter....I'll bring back the goods...but i don't know when....WHAT?!

New to Bjork. Her voice is terrific. so beautifully carries the feeling, i also think grace slick is good and venus hum. Bjork sounds better

Ouch. OUCH!!!!!!!! I was at the hairdresser's and he was playing this music. I must admit I was extremely relieved to get out of there (the music was giving me a major headache.) Bjork's singing is deliberately off key (or can she just not sing)? Anyways, it makes my ears bleed. It has no beat, no rhythm, and no tune. I guess some people may have a taste for this kind of music, but it is definitely NOT for me!!!!!!!

Best. Her best collection spiritual and I'm love all lot.

A GEM. Already own the rest of the songs, just bought "It's in Our Hands" this time around. It's rare and infectious. Saw the video and that was pretty much it. Sold.

Good but missing. This is a good collection but seriously, how could she leave off "Alarm Call"? That was the song that brought me to her music.

Bjork + Fluke = Magic. So great the she used the Fluke remix of Big Time Sensuality, the only remix on the album!

This is wonderfull, but. It's Oh So Quiet should really be on here too.

how about a real review. brilliant! okay so thats just a start, if you want to learn what bjork is all about or find a cd that has the hits you want but dont already own this is the CD. although there are a few remixes that leave you longing for the original versions . . . mostly big time sensuality. . . otherwise . . . um its nothing to rave nonsensically about but its bjork so its gonna have to be good

Amazing. A great selection from one of the most original artists of the past 20 years.

I Love Music !!. I know nowadays everybody uses streaming apps but there’s something different when you purchase an album . Both digital and physical hit different.I love bjorks music and you can’t go wrong with the hits!! I Would highly recommend this album !💕💕she’s literally a GOAT 🐐

Yes. ✨💅

This Woman is amazing. All Is Full Of Love- (10/10) This is the ORIGINAL version of All Is Full Of Love and in my opinion, the better version. Bjork wanted to remix the song for Homogenic to be able to flow with the rest of the album. I am pretty sure Bjork considers this version to be not the last track of Homogenic, but instead the first track of Vespertine. The beat here is amazing. I am sure you will be addicted to Bjork just by listening to this song. Its amazing! Hyperballad- (9.5/10) I like how the song transforms from a quiet ballad to a techno song. Its like an onion of a song, it takes time to get past all the layers, but when you get to the center, it is best. The only reason I took off a 0.5 is because it does take a while to get to this best part, but it is worth it in the end. This song has one of her best lyrics that tell a story that unfurls in your head. This was a song that had to be on Greatest Hits, or the CD would have to be burned (hee hee hee). This is one that you won't be able to resist. Human Behavior- (8/10) Her first ever single. :) It is really great, but after many listens the song starts to lose all the magic it once had. I have to warn you now. Try not to get addicted to the song like I did! I listened to it about 10 times one day, then the next day I got tired of it. Pace yourself when listening to this one. (Ahem, iTunes we need this video!) Joga- (10/10) This song blew me away while I listened to Homogenic. It is much like Hyperballad, as far as the whole "onion" thing, but this song gets to the point faster than HB. The song starts out with Bjork's vocals soaring over a violin orchestra (The violinests do a great job in her songs!) and later it is joined by a beat which turns into a techno song! This song has amazing lyrics about her dear frined Joga. It sounds like they have an amazing and long-standing friendship! Bachelorette- (9/10) This was my old favorite on Homogenic, but it has changed. The lyrics in this song I'm pretty sure were written by Joga, and they are amazing. The vocals in this song are really impressive and the instrumental is once again very impressing. This is a must have for any iPod. (Where is this music video iTunes? It was also amazing!) Army Of Me- (10/10) An adictive electronic song with Bjork's vocals rising over a hypnotic beat that will leave you listening many times. This song also helps me when Im feeling lazy because its so upbeat and the lyrics make me a bit afraid that if I keep doing nothing, Bjork is gonna break into my house and throw diamonds at me. Okay not really. Pagan Poetry- (10/10) This song is so hypnotic. I listened to it 17 times within the first 24 hours of buying it, and it is still as amazing as the first time I listened to it! The music box instrumental combined with impressive vocals from Bjork make this song the standout track of Vespertine that also needed to be on here, or I'd have to burn the CD. ;P Big Time Sensuality- (9/10) It is the music video version I have to warn you! This is her best dance pop song and one of the standouts from Debut. I love dancing around to this song. It is hypnotic in a strange dancy way. It is a little long though, and the lyrics are pretty dull compared to others. But this is the first single I have purchased from her (it's in the mail on it's way right now!) Look for the French & Saunders spoof of this. It is totally hilarious! Venus As A Boy- (6/10) Its pretty fun to listen to. I think this should have been replaced by the little known, but amazing, single, Alarm Call. Alarm Call has impressed me from the first listen, but it seems to be one of her least popular songs. Anyways about THIS song, it has a lot of little instumental breaks throughout that sound exactly the same each time. Its one of her popiest songs, but I think Alarm Call was a greater hit, even though it was not more popular. Go check out Alarm Call! Hunter- (9/10) I hated this song at first but it grew on me A LOT! The vocal affects can at first be irritating to listen to, but when she starts singing with her REAL voice, the song is really great. The accordian was a nice touch. :) Hidden Place- (9/10) Another favorite from Vespertine. This song sounds like the inspiration for Medulla, mainly because of the choir. The beat is extremely repeditive, but I LOVE the chorus The chorus has a slight change each time she sings it and my favorite is "Ill Keep it in a hadden place" bacause she really sings full out on that one and shares her amazing voice with the world! Isobel- (9/10) The beginning is a little strange, and the beat when she is not singing in the begining is a bit annoying, but I love the part when the violins come in. The lyrics are about a girl who lives in a forest and it becomes a city or something. Possibly Maybe- (7/10) Its pretty good, but it starts out too slow and stays a bit too slow. I really only like it about halfway in because it is so slow. It is pretty amazing though also! Its just not one of my favorites. Play Dead- (9/10) Woo! This song always gives me chills somehow! I'm glad it's on here so now we don't have to buy that expensive import to get this one great song. It has some of the best lyrics of any of her songs and she has some of her best vocals, closely sompeting with Storm, Pagan Poetry, and Aurora for best vocals. Its In Our Hands- (8/10) This song only appears on greatest hits and was not marked as a greatest hit, but a single that she made for this album. This song was to be realeased onto Vespertine, only to be replaced by Frosti in the end. Her vocals are somewhat strange in this song, which is destracting. Overall it is a pretty good song that is worth buying. So here we have it. Bjork's Greatest Hits album. I would suggest you just buy the albums sinse they are all worth the money. :) Click YES if you enjoyed my review and / or thought it was helpful. Thank you for reading it!

I love her music!!!. Bjork is one of my favorites. Her voice is full of emotion and to be honest, i love all the songs in this album. Thanks bjork!!!!!!

A Good Entrypoint. I endorse to new listeners because it is a good span of a remarkable decade. There are wonderful tracks on every album not represented here, particularly from Medulla and Volta, many of which fans prefer. Björk has been extremely busy creating an entire universe unparalleled in music. Not to be overlooked are her subtle craftsmanship, emotional genius, multilayered harmonies, superior production values, unique vision of what constitutes an auditory experience, voice exuded in frequencies and harmonics unlike anything on earth, and womanly perspective seldom so clearly articulated. Contempt for repeating successes, introduction of new instruments and sources of sound, never stuck on deriative sameness, no two beats alike: few artists in history that have achieved what she already has. People easily pleased by Elvis may never appreciate this, but it doesn't matter. Björk is a living treasure on a mission to amaze the rest of us. It may only be pop that rivals any superstar, but it's surely sweet brain candy and thoroughly addictive. This is just a start. Find out just how deep the rabbit hole goes...

BJORK. Everytime I listen to "All Is Full of Love" it's like I'm listening to it for the first time. It makes my heart ache. In a good way :)

Army's. Love the Artist Björk! Her songs make the movie Sucker Punch!!! Plus she's a Hottie! ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ!

Spectacular. A great collection of her very best. I will enjoy for many years.

LOVE HER, she's the Ultimate Queen of Outcasts. "People who don't understand Björk, don't understand music"-Elton John I love Björk, she is all about experimenting with sounds and creating imaginative videos. She's a real artist, Lady Gaga has nothing on her. Gaga did all that "performance art" for fame, Björk does it because she means it.

All the songs you like and then some!!. This is a great collection. It has all of her best stuff one 1 album. and it's a much better deal than the other compilation.

Ahead of her time.... It's so scary how ahead of the pack this talented singer is! I remember when the Sugarcubes first crossed the shore. Amazing!!! Her voice was ethereal! Still is! She's so forward thinking!!! She's not a follower, and people will just have to learn to accept that. Bjork opened my eyes to the Icelandic music scene. I'd buy this, but I already own these songs!

A Genius.. Bjork is honeslty a Genius. Lyrical, musical and all around a Genius. This woman is so Smart. and she has some of the biggest talent I have ever witnessed. this album is a perfect way to start Listening to Bjork, although longtime fans might be somewhat dissapointed(like me) that this is not a 'Complete Singles' its a 'Greatest hits' and i guess these were chosen for her Greatest,I However dont like the fluke Minimix of 'Big Time Sensuality' at all. and for sure 'Alarm call' should have been included. Lets hope somtime in 2001 or early 2012 we see a "Complete Singles" or a "The greatest" collection with songs chosen that arent singles as well.

GREAT ALBUM!. This is a great album to start off with if you're not familier with the different levels Bjork has to offer.

Bjork is. amaaaazing. enough said. there has never been a single song that she has sung that's bad. never! i saw her live last night at ACL and she was completely incredible!!!!! BJORK IS AWEESOMEE!!!

Beautiful. Gorgeous voice

VERY COMPREHENSIVE. VERY IMPRESSIVE BODY OF WORK-I JUST WANTED TO HEAR ALL THE MUSIC SHE HAS EVER CREATED SO I ALSO GOT 'PLAY DEAD' WHICH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS.IT REMINDS ME OF A VACATION I TOOK TO TORONTO, CANADA-IN THE 80'S. THINGS HAVE SINCE CHANGED, LIKE BJORK'S MUSIC. IT IS NICE TO HAVE THIS ALBUM IF Y0U DONT WANT TO BUY ALL HER CD'S BUT STILL WANT A GOOD OVERVIEW OF HER CAREER.A MUST FOR ANY NEW COLLECTOR BECAUSE IT DID'NT COME OUT THAT LONG AGO-I SAW IT IN BEST BUY IN FLINT MICHIGAN USA.BUT I HAVE SINCED MOVED FARTHER NORTH AND NOW I SEE WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT WITH THE WHOLE ARCTIC THEME THAT SHE USES. DID YOU KNOW THAT LIVE SHE SINGS ALOT OF HER HITS IN SWEDISH? IT REALLY SOUNDS GOOD-LIKE THIS ALBUM.I SHOULD'NT HAVE GOTTEN IT BUT I JUST COULD'NT RESIST.

Awesome compilation. Great collection of songs Björk so rocks, one of the best 90s artists Fav songs in order Venus as a Boy Play Dead Possibly maybe Pagan Poetry Hunter Hidden Place Bachelorette All is Full of Love Army of me Isobel Hyperballad Jòga Big time Sensuality Human Behavior It's in our Hands So pissed It's oh so quiet wasn't on here!! Unravel would've been great too

Love it!. To all the people (or person in this case) asking how this can be music, you have to acknowledge that music is an expression of feelings and not something you necessarily can copy with a bare voice. (If you want something like that then go download many of America's famous singers' songs) This style IS considered Electronic for a reason... And you have to admit, these are all beautifully done. Gotta love Björk <3

THE BEST. I THINK THAT THIS IS THE BEST BjöRK ALBUM BECAUSE WITH THIS YOU GET ALL OF HER AWESOME SONGS. SHE IS VERY CREATIVE AND IT IS GREAT TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE STILL GREAT ARTIST OUT.

Greatest Hits. Perfect!

A beautiful MIND. She is the best female artist I've ever known, I got very familiar with her music in Chile; I was surprised that she wasn't big in the US. She is amazing, the lyrics, her voice is unique and best of all she is so talented that she never have to sing half naked to get popular, I'll never get tired of her voice... Amazing woman!!!
